Would it make things easier or harder for him to travel with potions, charms and spells to help him along the way? Also the Legendaries seem interested in him because he was touched by Death themselves... And they don't like sharing. Oh dear! So much for a peaceful afterlife.

Visit from a Gym Leader

After the festival was over, life went on as it did for Ash and Gary. They had a sleepover where they shared what they found with their older brothers. Red and Green were legit stumped by the books and the language, but they did not want to take them from their siblings. So, Ash had instead proposed they photocopy the books then all of them would have a copy with them.

Green was curious, "Why do you want a copy of these?"

Red scratched his cheek, "Well, honestly speaking, it's a long shot but I'm hoping someone in Rota might know something."

Gary blinked, "You think so?"

Ash hummed, "It'll be easier, if we have a template to refer to."

Green looked contemplative, "I'll ask Sabrina this weekend, if she knows something.

Red brightened, "She agreed to help?"

Green smiled, "More like she sensed me and offered to help. She even offered to help me find a Pokemon to help with my powers."

Gary hugged him, "I'm glad. I was worried."

Green hugged him tightly, "I'm sorry for worrying you. It'll be okay, there is always a solution to problems."

Gary smiled as he let go, "Wanna help us figure out the ingredients for this recipe?"

Red looked at the page he had opened, "What is it? Is it an old recipe for something delicious?"

Ash giggled, "From what we can tell it is medicine actually. For broken bones."

Green's eyes lighted up, "Seriously? That's pretty cool."

The four of them had spent the evening till bedtime discussing about the items in the recipe. Some of the items made them scratch their head as they were completely unheard of, like scarab beetles, puffer fish. Green decided to get a carbon dating for the book done as it was obvious they were not going anywhere. Red agreed with Green on that choice. They had fried rice, tempura and salad for dinner before shelving the books and sleeping. The next day both Ash and Gary went to school while Red accompanied Green to the Professor's lab.

Samuel, "Ah! Red, Green, good morning! How are you feeling today?"

Green, "Morning gramps, I'm good."

Red, "Morning Professor!"

Samuel, "Green, Gym leader, Sabrina called me yesterday late evening. She said she'll come today to help you pick a Psychic type Pokemon to help your powers."

Red perked up, "That's great, isn't it?"

Green nodded, "Okay, but is there a reason why? I mean, I was supposed to go this weekend, a few days from now."

Samuel sighed, "Yesterday, she couldn't feel your presence anymore and she got worried. Therefore, she's coming today to check on you and bringing some of her starter psychic Pokemon to help you."

Red blinked before his mouth twitched, "I think, I know why she could not sense you."

Green noticed Red staring at his bracelet, "Yeah! I think, I do too. Huh! So this can hide us really well."

Samuel looked at the two youngsters, "Hmmm... Is there something I missed."

Red looked at the Professor and showed his bracelet, "Did you know Professor? Ash and Gary found a very interesting treasure last year. This was what they found."

Samuel looked at the curious looking bracelets, "What does it have to do with anything?"

Green explained what had happened the day before during the festival and the bracelets that Ash and Gary had created when they noticed his growing problem. They explained how it worked, it's functions and what the words meant. Red observed the Professor's expression go from curiosity to impressed to worry then completely blank faced.

Red probed, "Professor, you okay?"

Green looked worried, "Yeah Gramps. You don't look so good."

Samuel sighed, "I don't know what to say kids. Your brothers have a very fascinating one of a kind talent and it makes me fear for their safety. They will be highly coveted once people realize what they are capable of."

Red nodded, "We know, that's why we are going to make a big name for ourselves before they can start their journey."

Green piped up, "That way, when they start their journey all the attention, good and bad will be on us. They can train in peace, hopefully."

Samuel, "It's a good strategy if I say so myself. But you will have to work hard to make a strong name. I know that you are already known as the youngest Aura and Psychic user right now but it won't be enough."

Red, "We know Professor which is why we plan to become the first Aura and Psychic Champions from Pallet town. No, from Kanto region."

Green smirked, "There has not been a single Psychic or Aura user that had become a Champion before. I think, we will cause quite a shock for everyone. Enough shock, to make sure no thinks about bothering our baby bros."

Samuel smirked at the two, "My, my! Aren't you two all planned out? Well then, I certainly hope things turn out well in the future. Now, how about you help me at the lab?"

Green smiled, "Sure Gramps!"

Red nodded, "We would love to, Professor!"

The day went by with the three of them working at the lab. Around afternoon however, they had a guest that visited them. She had come with quite a number of Psychic Pokemon with her. Green was impressed by the several varieties with her. There were Abra, Kadabra, Drowzee, Espeon, Fennekin, Wynaut, Chimecho, Espurr, Solosis, Ralts and Solrock.

Samuel, "Ah, gym Leader Sabrina, welcome, welcome."

Sabrina gave a smile, "It's a pleasure to be here, Professor."

She looked over at Green and gave a confused frown, "What happened to you? I can't sense your abilities at all even though, I'm getting a faint sense of strength."

Samuel, "About that, he managed to find a way to shield himself. How about we talk about this inside over some tea? You have traveled very far after all."

Samuel explained to Sabrina about Green and Red and their younger siblings. He explained what the bracelet does making Sabrina's eyebrows lift up to her hairline in astonishment. To say, she was impressed was an understatement, even the Pokemon who were curious about their new soon to be trainer were fascinated.

Sabrina spoke up after the Professor finished his explanation, "I can't say, I don't understand your worry, because I do, upto some point. I worry about my students a lot after all. Professor, may I request a meeting with your youngest two as well. If possible, I would love to officially order a few of those lovely bracelets for my students and myself."

Samuel hummed, "Yes, I can see this becoming a good source of income though I do wonder what they will ask for payment."

Sabrina looked a little curious, "What do you mean Professor?"

Green gave a wry smile, "He means our brothers are not exactly interested in money although they understand it's importance and necessity."

Sabrina gave an 'ah', "I see. Understandable! I used to be the same as a child, I thought my powers were all that I needed. Don't worry, as they grow they will understand more."

Red smiled, "I noticed that not all Pokemon here are completely psychic type."

Sabrina nodded, "I was not sure which Pokemon would be the best choice so I mixed it up a bit, don't worry they do have psychic typing, but also another type as well. It helps in combat. Why don't you spend some time and feel them out?"

Green nodded and joined the Pokemon outside along with Red who was curious about them. Sabrina watched them go as she sat contemplating, her Abra fast asleep on her lap.

Sabrina, "So the two youngest, they are the ones who have the league in a tizzy."

Samuel, "Yes they do, I'm grateful you agreed to help my grandson. I'll be blunt, he's the first Psychic in our family and we are honestly at a loss on how to help or train his powers. A family friend has agreed to train him physically however Psychic ability wise, even he doesn't know much."

Sabrina hummed, "Don't thank me yet. I have not helped him yet. In fact, I wonder if I truly can help him much. Even with the powers being shielded I can still sense their strength and it grows bit by bit, much faster than I thought possible."

Samuel frowned, "I see, well this is quite a predicament."

Sabrina, "Nonetheless, I will train him as much as I can. He might be the strongest psychic born outside the clans till date. I can say the same about the young aura user as well. It's a miracle they are so close, usually we are very territorial."

Samuel snorted, "Depends on what territory it is."

Sabrina blinked then her mouth went an O shape as she realized, "They are together? I didn't realize... Well it's not unusual, there are a few couples out there, however few, that live happily together."

Samuel smirked, "If only those two realized that."

Sabrina laughed, "Well, we'll just have to watch over them. I'm very sure the Aura users will be interested in them too."

Samuel finished his tea, "How about we go check on them? It has been a few hours now and I believe my youngest grandson and his friend will be here soon as well."

Sabrina nodded in answer and got up to follow the older man outside to the open fields. The two watched as Fennekin had latched on to Green and made herself comfortable as well as Kadavra. Solosis and Ralts it seems were getting along well with Red and the rest of the Psychic Pokemon were relaxing around them as the watched Red and Green create psychic and aura shapes to entertain them.

Samuel laughed, "Looks like you all are getting along well."

Sabrina chuckled, "So, have you decided?"

Red smiled, "They are really sweet."

Green, "Yes I think I have, Kadavra and Fennekin here. I just have a good feeling about them like we just click. I can't explain actually we just match."

Sabrina smiled content, "That's how I felt when I first connected with my Alakazam for the first time. I'm happy to know that you were able to connect the same way. Now, you will be going on your journey by the end of the year I believe, so it'll be better if you start your classes with me this coming week."

Green, "Okay! Wait, it's okay for me to have two Pokemon? I mean Gramps had to convince the League earlier to let my brother have two because they are not trainers yet."

Samuel huffed, "Technically speaking, you are already a trainer. If it had not been for the fact that you both looked reluctant to leave straight away I bet you would have an entire set of six by now."

Red rubbed his neck a little embarrassed, "It was instinct, a gut instinct telling us leaving right now would get us killed. I know it sounds ridiculous but... "

Sabrina answered with her eyes closed, "I'm happy you followed your instincts. This year has been a very busy whirlwind for us."

Samuel, "Ah! Yes, two of the trainers they rescued were actually your students were they not."

Sabrina nodded her face dark, "They were planning on selling them as play toys and broodmares to anyone who would buy them at a high price. My younger student is doing better than the older one. She used her ability to shield his mind from the worst effects of the drugs leaving herself open to.., but I guess that's just how siblings are. I almost hunted those bastards down myself, truly I never felt anger as powerful as I did a few months back."

Green walked up to his new teacher and held her hand, "I understand, I felt the same way when I realized Team Rocket was snooping around close to where my brother was. I think that was when my ability first woke up. I just didn't notice."

Sabrina calmed down, "Indeed, so now not only do I teach how to control psychic abilities, but also psychic and physical combat. I will not have a repeat of what happened before. Be there for class from Monday till Thursday. Friday and Saturday are gym battle days and Sundays are off for rest and relaxation. Outside of class days you may do whatever you wish but during class I expect you to pay attention."

Green nodded, "Understood!"

Sabrina left after explaining in detail what are the main lessons for psychic users, Samuel walked Sabrina outside from where she teleported back to her gym. The rest of the Pokemon left as well except for the Kadavra and Fennekin that had latched themselves on Green making Red laugh. Green snipped back reminding him, on weekend it would be his turn to pick and probably be jumped on by aura Pokemon.
