Clarissa was sitting at her desk grading papers when Emma ran into her office, “Have you seen Red?”
Dovey looked up at Anemone, “No, why?”
“Because, we were supposed to have a meeting discussing the Nevers history, but she didn’t show”
Clarissa fell silent, that wasn’t like Leonora, then she remembered something and immediately took off out of the room, Emma quickly followed suit. Dovey made it down a flight of stairs before she got aggravated with her dress and changed it into her armor; they were more flexible and lightweight.
The both of them made it to the first floor of the school, which is where they caught the attention of Alex, she turned around and started running after them. She quickly caught up to them when they reached the doors of the School for Evil, she expected Clarissa and Emma to stop running but only Anemone stopped.
“What’s going on?”
Emma had her hands clutching the wall, “I don’t know, I asked her a question and she took off”
Alex nodded and started running up the stairs, she caught sight of Clarissa turning the corner, she knew from experience that that corridor led to Leonora’s personal chambers. When she got to the door, she saw that it was open and she heard crying, she immediately went in and found Clarissa in the bathroom.
She walked in and saw Leonora lying a floor, she walked up behind Clarissa and put her hand on her shoulder, “She’s dead, Alex” She sobs, “She killed herself”
Alex looked around the bathroom, the only thing she spotted out of place was a golden bottle with the sign for health on it, she grabbed it and started to look at it.
“It’s an Evers healing potion, it can heal any trouble an Ever might have, but is absolutely fatal to any Never that takes it”
“So why is it on this side of the bridge?”
Clarissa gasped, she couldn’t stand the thought of what she was about to say, “Because, its from my room”
Emma ran up to Clarissa and got down on her knees, “Its okay” She started running her hands up and down Rissas arms, “You’ll be fine”
Clarissa turned her head into Emma's chest, “I don’t want to live without her”
“I know, Dove, I know”

Alex had left the school and went to EastHaven, she walked down the corridor until she reached the Black Councils meeting room, she knocked on the door and heard Eleanor invite her in.
She walked in the room and all of their faces lit up, “Alex, how lovely to see you”
Alex walked up and sat in an empty seat, “I wish I could say the same, Eleanor”
“What do you mean?”
“This morning we found Lady Lesso in her bathroom, dead”
Everyone’s face fell, Lalita spoke up, “How?”
“Suicide, she drank Ever health poition”
“Whens the funeral”
“Tonight”
Lalita nodded her head, “Has anyone told the Captains?”
“No”
Lalita brought her pinky’s to her lips and whistled, a servant ran in a couple seconds later, “Go to Atytrang and tell the Captains that Lady Leonora Lesso, Warrior Fairy of S.G.E. is dead”, Her voice dropped off as she mentioned that she died.
The Servant bowed, “Of course ma’am” then he turned around and walked out the door.

The servant arrived at the Kingdom of Atytrang with a sword held to his throat, “Who are you?”
“I am a servant of the EastHaven Kingdom, and I am here looking for either Captain Rose or Captain Eliza”
The woman lowered her sword, “I am Captain Rose, what do you need to say?”
“I was told to tell you that ‘Lady Leonora Lesso, Warrior Fairy of S.G.E.’ is dead”
Rose’s face fell, “What?”
“Yes ma’am”
“ELIZA!!!!”
Seconds later a woman came running down the stairs carrying a sword, “I know Love” She handed Rose a sword, “This arrived just a little bit ago”
Rose took the sword and looked at the blade, L. Lesso was written on the blade, “No”
“I’m sorry love” Eliza looked towards the servant, “When’s the funeral?”
“If you go to EastHaven by the end of the hour, it will be that night in S.G.E.”
Eliza nodded, “Tell them we’ll be there”
The servant nodded and vanished into black smoke.
Eliza turned back to Rose, “We’re going”
Rose nodded, “And we’re giving Dovey this sword”
“Yes”
….
The whole Black Council and both Captains showed up at the funeral at the same time, they all walked over to Clarissa, Eliza and Rose stepped forward, “We’re so sorry”
Clarissa’s fell up the hilt of the sword that Rose had on her hip, “Red Ruby”
“Yes” She pulled the sword out of its sheath, “With you being the only of the person who can wield it, we think that you should have it”
Clarissa woke up with a start, she put her hand to her chest and felt her satin sheets beneath her hands, she immediately got up, put her slippers on and ran out the door. She made it all the way to Leonoras private chambers before she stopped running, she knocked on the door and got no response.
She opened the door and went over to the bed, she wasn’t there, Dovey started to freak out, this was a little to close to her dream. She walked to the bathroom and opened the door, and there she was, laying on the floor, she dropped to her knees and brought Leonoras head to her lap.
“What’s wrong with you?”
Lesso was weak, she was almost close to passing out, “I don’t want to be here, everyone will be just fine without me”
Clarissa started to cry, “Well I’m not everyone, I can’t live without you”
Lesso smiles weakly, “You’ll be fine, you’ll do better without me”
“But I don’t want to, I want to lead this school by your side”
Lesso’s body went limp in her arms, “No, come back” Clarissa hugged Lesso, “I still need you”
She stayed like that for a good little bit before she pulled back, Lesso looked exactly the same except that she was just a little bit more pale than normal. Clarissa lowered her lips and quickly kissed her lips to Leonoras, “I can’t imagine a world without you, Nora”
She pulled back and saw Lesso's eyes fluttering open, when her eyes were fully open, she smiled at Clarissa, “Looks like you don’t have to”
Clarissa smiled and lightly tapped her arm, “I wouldn’t have had to, if you would have talked to me in the first place”
“I’m sorry” She moved her head to face into Clarissa torso, “I didn’t think anybody would care”
“I bloody care, I always have”
Lesso didn’t respond, she didn’t believe that Clarissa had always cared, certainly she didn’t care after the whole Rafal incident, “I don’t believe you”
It was so quiet that Dovey just barely caught it, but when she did she pushed Leonora back by the shoulders, “Well you should, because for as long as I can remember I have always wanted to be your friend” She must have sensed that Lesso still didn't’ believe her, because the next thing she knew, she was being pulled into a searing kiss.
When she pulled back she looked directly into Lesso's eyes, “If you ever leave me again, I will kill you”
Leonora just gulped and nodded, “Why?” Confusion was the only answer Lesso got, “Why do you care about me?”
Clarissa just pulled her back in for another hug, “I don’t know, but I’m glad I do”
