True Panic

Saturday - 12th January
(Living Room, Ground Floor, Silver and Blaze House - 2:10 PM)
Silver and Blaze were sleeping off without noticing while watching the movie in the sofa. Blaze's head was sleeping on top of Silver's laps while Silver was sleeping in sitting position and his left hand was on top of Blaze's head. The living room was feel with TV statics noise with both couple snooze.
Silver suddenly wake up from sleep with slowly eyes open only noticed the movies was already over. He then felt heavy on his laps, so he tilted his head and notice Blaze was still sleeping on top of his thighs. Silver look at digital clock next to TV and it already say 2:15 PM. Silver rub his face to regain his thoughts, after that he slowly replaced his thighs with nearby pillow to not wake Blaze up.
Silver:
(Quietly, as he gently shifts Blaze's head onto the pillow.)
Don't want to wake her up...
(He slowly stands up and moves toward the door, stepping outside to get a breath of fresh air while making sure not to disturb Blaze.)
I'll just be outside for a bit.

(Outside House, Silver and Blaze House - 2:20 PM)
Silver open the front door with sudden a slow wind blow into his body making his hair quills fur and chest fur follows the wind. That fill is making Silver calm and breath taking. The weather outside is more cloudy than usual making only few sunlight coming through to Paleto Bay Town area. Silver hear the old sheep, Mr. Burton from other side of fence greating Silver again while gardening. Despite his old age, he still active with outdoor activities to keep him not bored.
Mr. Burton:
(Looks up, wiping his hands on his gardening apron, smiling warmly.)
Ah, there he is! How's the young deputy today? Taking a break from all that running around, huh?
Silver:
(Notice Mr. Burton, smile and wave)
Haha, yeah. . I know I'm that young but you don't need to call me that.
(Walk to Mr. Burton fence while he still gardening)
That break is actually good for us, sir. We busy with police stuff and paper work from the past. Thankfully today is our day off, it felt a long time since Blaze and I have actually peaceful time together. Maybe we deserve that break day.
Silver hand rubbing left and right on Mr. Burton fence as his talk to Mr. Burton. It's true of what Silver say, since both of them work as police duty, they barely have enough time to spend together. The fact that every day that Silver patrol in Blaine County while Blaze still in the office in Los Santos City is difficult to make them spend time together. The only communication they have are only their phone, but still it was not enough for them.
Mr. Burton:
(Chuckles, adjusting his hat.)
I tell ya, Silver, you sure do keep busy. I saw you earlier, running around like a whirlwind, then off to help out that poor clerk. You're a good one. Not everyone would've jumped in like that.
Silver:
(Feeling appreciate)
Thank you, Mr Burton. I don't have a lot to say about it, I just do what I have to do actually.
Mr. Burton:
(Nods, giving a proud smile.)
That's what makes you stand out, Silver. You don't do it for the recognition, you just do it 'cause it's right. That's a rare thing these days. Keep it up, kid. The world needs more like you.
Silver heart felt warm to hear a nice wise from his neighbor. Silver really appreciate to Mr. Burton for keep supporting him for whatever cost it is. Silver nod to Mr. Burton to agree with him. Suddenly Mr. Burton give unexpected question that make Silver surprise.
Mr. Burton:
(Stop his gardening and put the gardening scissors on top of bush, get up)
Say, Silver. Why do you actually want to become a Sheriff of Deputy actually?
Silver:
(Shrugs lightly)
Well, growing up, I always felt like I wanted to make a difference, you know? The world can be tough, and not everyone gets the support they need. I saw the way law enforcement helped in tough situations, and I wanted to be part of that. Not just to enforce the law, but to help people in need, to be someone they can trust when things go wrong. It just felt like the right path for me.
Mr. Burton felt that my explanation was to basic to him as they is the same excuse to apply other job. Mr. Burton then suddenly push the question further that actually make Silver stuttered.
Mr Burton:
(Leans in slightly, with a curious look)
Hmm... so, is there something from your past that influenced your decision to join the force? Something personal, maybe? You don't have to tell me if it's too much, but I'm just wondering what really drives you, Silver. You seem like a good guy, always helping others.
Silver:
(Looking surprise from Mr Burton question)
I. . I. .
Mr Burton:
(Places a hand on his chin, waiting patiently)
You don't have to rush, Silver. Take your time if it's something you wanna share. If you don't want to answer it, it's okay, I'm apologize about it.
But Silver is still try to answer Mr. Burton question. Silver shake his head and focused on thought to answer it but it just make even worse.
Silver:
(Feeling nervous, but try to stay in word that come out of my mouth)
No. . No. . I. . can. . answer your question. .
(Heavy Breath)
It. . It about my. . .my parents. They. . . . They. . .
Silver got defeated by his sudden trauma from his past childhood. Silver suddenly froze on the spot. Silver vision start to blur with only flashback from the past. Silver now start to feel his panic attack slowly coming in. Mr. Burton suddenly notice Silver was silent with shaking body.
Mr Burton:
(Sensing Silver's unease, he rush walk around the fence and he gently places a hand on Silver's shoulder)
Hey, it's alright. Take a deep breath. You don't have to say anything if you're not ready. We can talk about it whenever you feel comfortable. Just breathe, okay?
Silver not realize what happened outside of the world. His panic attack still in his mind, all of thought just say" Don't say it! Don't say it! Don't say it! ", Silver start to sweat and feeling unfocused of surrounding.
Mr Burton:
(Notice the distress and calmly takes a step closer)
Silver, look at me. It's okay. Just focus on your breath. Take it slow, in and out. We don't need to rush. If you want to talk later, I'll be here. You're safe, okay?
Mr. Burton pats Silver's shoulder, giving a reassuring squeeze, while keeping a steady, calm presence. Suddenly Silver regain conscious slowly and realize what happened. Silver still breath faster while looking at Mr. Burton face. Silver eyes suddenly start to tear slowly, his breath also start to be normally. His panic attack start to slow down.
Mr Burton:
(Softly)
Take your time, Silver. It's alright. No need to rush. Just breathe.
(He stays quietly, offering a calm, reassuring presence, waiting patiently until Silver regains composure.)
Silver:
(Tear coming down)
I. . . I can't. . . I don't know what to do. . .
Meanwhile, from other side of the front door, they is purple cat was actually secretly listening the conversation between a white hedgehog and old sheep. Blaze actually heard the conversation from outside, her tear also running down when he see Silver was start having panic attack in front of their neighbor. Blaze still don't know what the cause of Silver has this panic attack trauma from his childhood. Blaze can't take this anymore so she close door to not be suspected, and sit behind door and feeling sad abouts Silver.
Mr. Burton still comforting Silver from the bottom of his heart to make sure Silver is save under him protection.
Mr Burton:
(Softly, his voice comforting)
You don't have to know everything right now, Silver. It's okay to feel lost. You've been through a lot, and it takes time to heal. Just remember, you don't have to face it alone.
(He gently pats Silver on the shoulder, offering reassurance, giving him the space to breathe and recover.)
Silver:
(After a few minutes, Silver start to feeling better)
Thank you Mr Burton, It's mean a lot to me.
Mr Burton:
(Smiling warmly)
You're welcome, Silver. You've got a good heart. Just take it one step at a time. You're not alone in this.
(He gives Silver a kind, understanding look, signaling his support.)
Silver:
(Wipe his tear)
I get to go inside. I don't want to leave Blaze alone in there.
Mr Burton:
(Nods with understanding)
Of course, kid. Go ahead. Take care of her, alright?
Mr. Burton waves gently as Silver heads back inside, a quiet sense of reassurance lingering in the air. Mr. Burton understood slightly the hidden pain behind the brave hero that everyone not realize. Mr. Burton will look after Silver properly to make sure his safe.

(Living Room, Ground Floor, Silver and Blaze House - 2:40 PM)
Silver slowly get inside his house, his mind was still blur from what just happened on the yard. Silver think that situation can be avoided if he not answer Mr. Burton question he is stubborn and still answer it.
Suddenly Silver notice Blaze was not in the sofa anymore. Silver was confused and immediately call out Blaze name.
Silver:
(Curious)
Uhm, Blaze? Where are you?
Suddenly, Blaze voice can be heard upstairs of the house,shouting.
Blaze:
(Shouting)
I'm here. . Silver.
Silver immediately rush toward upstairs and see their share bedrooms open indicates that Blaze was inside.

(Bedroom, First Floor, Silver and Blaze House - 2:42 PM)
Silver went inside the bedroom and notice Blaze sitting at the edge of bed with both hand squish together, while looking on the floor. Silver was confused why Blaze was acting like this.
Silver:
(Cunsorning, but in low voice to cover his previous cry)
Why are you in bed so early. Are you not feeling good? Here lake me take a look.
(Silver put his back hand into her forehead)
Blaze:
(Smiling softly and gently pulling away his hand)
I'm alright, Silver. Just... a little tired, that's all. I didn't want to worry you.
(She sits up slightly and pats the bed beside her. Silver notice and seat besides her)
Silver, . . I want to ask you same questions. Are you okay?
Silver:
(Eyes shock to hear Blaze question)
I. . I'm fine. . why?
Blaze:
(Blaze's face lock into Silver eyes)
Silver, please. . Answer honestly. . Are you okay?
Silver:
(Try to defend himself)
I. . I'm fine, Blaze. Why do you asking this question. I'm actually-
Silver word got cut out by Blaze sudden voice. This time it was serious no joking.
Blaze:
(Shout, grab Silver shoulder by surprise)
Silver! Please look at me! I'm heard your conversation with Mr. Burton outside! I saw you start to having panic attack and cry in front of him! My eyes is not betrayed itself, Silver! So, please Silver. Don't lie to me! Are you actually okay, Silver?
Silver was froze and shock from Blaze shout making his ear was drop, his tail was drop and start to tear himself. Silver was stuttering about what the world that coming from his mouth.
Silver:
(Feeling scare and emotional)
I. . I. . I. .
Blaze:
(She suddenly realized her mistakes of shouting to Silver, he noticed Silver was about to sweating and cry)
Wait, Silver. I'm so sorry. I really didn't mean to.
Silver again lost focusing to whatever Blaze speak. Silver eyes was twitching, his mind voice suddenly going through say, "It's all you fault" and "You can't save him", repeat over and over again. Silver close his ear and panicking himself.
Blaze was guilty that she make Silver sudden panic. She immediately grab Silver hand to make Silver regain conscious again and tell Silver to follow her instruction.
Blaze:
(Grab Silver hand make Silver to focus on Blaze's face, steady voice)
Hey, Silver. Please look at me. Please follow my voice, okay. Listen, Silver. I need you to follow me, my movement, my interactions and my instructions. You got this, okay?
(Silver breath is rapidly fast, his eyes is all over the place but his ear is twitch when he heard Blaze conversation. Silver still can hear Blaze but his body doesn't want to cooperate.)
Good, okay. Follow me. Breath in, Breath out. Slowly. No need to rush, okay?
(Blaze repeatedly the breath techniques to make sure Silver not chocked on his breath. Silver's face still scare but he eyes got attention of Blaze action. Silver slowly follow Blaze instructions to make his breath comes. After a few try, Silver breath now start to calm. Blaze move into next technique)
Alright, now can you answer my question. No need to worry, it just simple question. I just want know if you can remember anything, that's all okay.
(Silver nod still shaking)
Alright, first question. Who am I and what is me related to you?
Silver:
(Shake voice)
You. . are. . Blaze. . The Cat. . You are. . my girlfriend.
Blaze:
(Nod)
Good, next question. Do you remember what actually happened at the grocery store?
Silver:
(Close his eyes, shaking)
I. . . I. . help someone. . Injured. . Clerk. . That felt. . Down.. From. . Stair.
Blaze:
(Nod)
Good, good. Last question. What is you eat on today breakfast.
Silver:
(Can't remember)
Uhm. . Uh. . It's. . .
Blaze:
(Try to help Silver remember)
You say it's food that I can actually prepare.
Silver:
(Eyes open slowly and calm)
It. . It was. . Cereal and milk. . With orange juice.
Blaze:
(Felt release as Silver past all question, sigh)
Huh. . I'm sorry, Silver. I should not yell at you. It was stupid of me to do that behavior.
Suddenly without hesitation, Silver grab Blaze's wrist and hug Blaze softly. Blaze was surprised of Silver action, Blaze also slowly hug Silver back to comfort Silver. Silver actually cry release as Blaze helping him going through his panic attack event.
Silver:
(Sobbing)
Thank you. . Thank you. .
Blaze:
(Rubbing Silver back)
It's okay, I will always with you forever.
They both comfort each other for a long time without realizing they fall asleep in their bed. Today is exhausted day for both of them to regain their mental from the work and Silver himself of his trauma.

(Bedroom, First Floor, Silver and Blaze House - 8:30 PM)
The day was past really quickly, the sun now has set into the horizon replacing with the barely moon light cover from cloudy day. The noise inside the town only produced by the traffic on main road with nearby factory and cargo train passing by. The temperature outside also starts to drop to cold and possibly raining.
Silver and Blaze still sleeping in their bed in cuddle position. Blaze suddenly wakes up when a small gust of wind blows from the nearby window touch her. Blaze rubs her face and notice that the outside has already dark. She grabs her phone to see it's already 8:32 PM. Blaze wake Silver up by moving his body around to get his attention.
Blaze:
(shaking Silver body)
Silver. . Wake up. . It's already night.
Silver:
(Open his eyes slowly with big yawn and sleepy voice)
Hmm. . . Night already? Did we just fall asleep like that.
Blaze:
(Nod)
Probably. . . It's also cold outside.
Suddenly, there is noise coming from Blaze's stomach showing that she really hungry and not eats from the breakfast. She put her both hands into her stomach to cover the embarrassment and apologize to Silver.
Blaze:
(Embarrassed)
I'm sorry, Silver. I did not eat today besides the breakfast.
Silver:
(Smile, move close to her and kiss her forehead)
It's okay. I also hungry too. tell what, how about I make something special dinner today for you?
Blaze:
(Interest of what Silver conversation)
What it is?
Silver:
(Smirk)
Well, it was not surprised if I tell you early. How about you take a shower first, and I will prepare a special dinner in the kitchen?
Blaze:
(Chuckles)
Alright, alright.
(Blaze immediately get up from the bed and turn on the light inside the bedroom. She looks back at Silver before went into the bathroom)
Call me when you ready.
Silver blush from Blaze teasing him around making him smile. Silver snaps out of his mind after Blaze went into the bathroom. Silver gets up from the bed and start head down to the kitchen.

(Kitchen, Ground Floor, Silver and Blaze House - 8:43 PM)
Silver grab nearby apron in the counter and wear around it. Silver head to the sink and wash his face to fresh his mind. He takes a deep breath and start looking around the ingredients. Silver noticed they is a fresh fish and a potato inside the fridge. There also have few shrimps and bacon. Silver has an idea to make Fish & Chips to Blaze and Shrimp & Grits to himself. Silver grabs all important ingredients and start preparing it.
The kitchen was busy with Silver doing all over task to make this special dinner. With the noise of blender machine and sound of frying fish on the stove, it makes the kitchen felt the aroma of delicious and testy food. However, Silver skill of cooking is very professional making it very simple to handle for him by himself. Surprisingly, Silver only took half an hour to prepare this special dinner and already serves on dining table with each of their food with sides of wines. Silver put down his apron and rush towards the bedroom upstairs to surprise Blaze with his presentation.

Inside the bedroom, Blaze already taking the shower and now wearing a T-shirts and pajamas pants with free hair. She currently sitting on the bed while doing a paperwork in her police tablet with her glasses. Blaze then heard knocking on the bedroom door to find Silver ask Blaze is she ready yet.
**KNOCK**KNOCK**
Silver:
(Slowly open the door but not fully)
Blaze? Are you done with shower?
Blaze:
(Put down her tablet on bed)
Yes, you can come in.
(Silver open the door with smile looking at Blaze sitting on bed)
Did dinner already serve?
Silver:
(Smile proudly)
Yes, but. . I want you to close your eyes to see the surprise.
Blaze:
(Smirk)
Really? . . Whatever.
(She gets up from bed and close her eyes, Silver then approach Blaze and grab her hand to guide into the kitchen)
Don't you dare make me fall down stairs, Silver?
Silver:
(Chuckles)
Don't worry. I won't do that to you.

(Kitchen, Ground Floor, Silver and Blaze House - 9:05 PM)
As Silver guide Blaze to the kitchen, Blaze can smell a delicious food has been prepared by Silver before. Blaze sense of smell is very strong make her more excited to see what Silver has been serves for dinner. Silver then stops Blaze in front of the dining table to surprise her.
Silver:
(Make Blaze stop and let go her hand, very excited)
You ready to see, Blaze?
(Blaze nod her head)
Alright, now open your eyes.
As Blaze open her eyes, her face was amazed with her tails wags uncontrollably. Blaze was very happy; she immediately hugs Silver to thanks him for preparing this dinner without hesitation even though this evening he was having a breakdown.
Blaze:
(Still hug Silver)
Thank you, Silver. You don't have to do this special dinner just for me.
Silver:
(Smiles then kiss Blaze forehead)
I have too. It showing as 'thank you' for always by my sides when we first meet, Blaze.
Silver wants to show his very appreciating to Blaze for always supporting each other especially when Silver currently down. When Blaze present by Silver side, he feels motivated because of her encouragement to support him all time.
Silver:
(Guide Blaze to sit down and bring Blaze food)
Here, let me serve you. I prepared you with your special food, Fish & Chips with a homemade sauce.
(Silver then sit beside Blaze)
And for myself is Shrimp & Grits and I prepare both of us a bottle of wines.
Blaze:
(Hold Silver hand with smiles)
Thank you, Silver.
Silver:
(Smiles happily)
Thank you also for always with me.
Both of them start having a romantic conversation for a while until both of them finish the dinner. Silver now knows what Mr. Burton is talking about. Mr. Burton was right all along that Silver and Blaze don't have times to spend together after both of them join the forces. This day is a greatest day for both of them to spend with each other despite Silver situation all along.
After both of them finish their dinner, they both start doing dishes together. However, there is something that both of them want to talk about. Something flirty must say . . . .
