Summary
What happens when Loki falls off the Bifröst? Where does he end up? What makes him so bitter? In this story Loki ends up in Hel, the realm of the dead for those who did not die a warriors death, and meets Autumn, a girl who can't remember her life before Hel. Together they attempt to return Loki to Asgard to make amends.
Falling Forward

Everything was perfect, golden. The sun was rising over the city, early and crisp, if she was breathing there would have been the tender wisps of breath meeting the fall chill for the first time that season. She thought about that, in that last slow moment. The leaves were starting to change and she took them in, feeling the cold pavement on her skin along with the prickly sensation of pain running through her legs and arms.
“One minute I am. And then I am not...” she thought, her eyes wide open, staring into the wild blue of the autumn sky above her. “What a sticky thing death is.”
