I take my coffee with a side of murder, thank you.

So after much deserved rest after yesterday's problems, and a few hours of investigation into what the mysterious creature that made the marks in the tree, I can safely say that today I feel like nothing can stop me. i think I know what type of outcast this is but without evidence I can't prove it. See my problem?

Quick little sidetrack. I spent all night dreaming about the tall goddess, a little creepy I admit but hey we all get crushes, it's fine. Right? I was however rudely interrupted with a very cold breeze from my window which I swear wasn't open yesterday but knowing me I probably opened it before collapsing in bed last night. I was tired, very tired.

Right where was I? Oh yeah the creature. You robably want to know what I know but come on where's the fun in that. I want to make it a surprise. See if you're able to figure it out. Let's just say very big and has wings. Ooooo, mysterious. Figured it out yet. No? Okay I guess I'll give you more hints as the day goes on. I'll give you one more hint for now though, much like the hide this outcast needs a master or more like a keeper of sorts. So I know we're looking for two people which can either make my job a hell of a lot harder or way to easy. I'm hopping for the latter.

So today, I'm fixing my office hopefully, looking through the evidence on the case and double no triple checking that Crawley isn't anywhere near Nevermore or the police station. He is hard work. Anyway, let me explain my morning since you missed it. Where were you? Sleeping probably.

So flashback ooooooo.

I'm at the Weathervane collecting the morning coffee, but just my luck the machine is broken so I guess it's drip for me. That's fine, today will be great I know it. Surprise, hi yeah erm future me here no it wasn't. It was an awfully day, seriously Why'd you let me believe it was going to be great. I'm not listening to you next time.

So, back to the Weathervane...

As I turned around after not so securley putting on the lid,I immediately bump into Principle Weems.. sorry, Larissa. What was once a nice white dress has no turned a darker shade. My fault entirely, should of looked up from the cup when walking, instead of focussing all my attention onto my lifeline. Stupid me. Dammit.

"Sheriff Jones? Are you alright?" I was in my head again. Oops.

"Yes. I'm so sorry about you dress. I can get it cleaned for you. What is wrong with me? I should have looked where I was going. Again I'm sorry." I looked at her my the words were spilling out of my mouth and she began...to...giggle. Okay odd. Not what I had expected, but we'll roll with it. And then out comes this enormous laugh, I guess she couldn't hold it in anymore.

You know in movies when a characters begins to laugh when you think there's going to get mad so the other character starts to laught awkwardly having no idea what's going on? Yeah I'm the other character. I began laughing but not the normal laugh a more slowed breathy one because what the fuck is going on. I expected a full on berating by this beautiful woman, but no I got a laugh. No malice or anger present.

In-between her laughs, she says "Your face...oh my, the look on your face was priceless. It's absolutely fine Sheriff Jones." Then the laughter died down and she continued, "I have plenty more of these dresses back at Nevermore. It's just as much my fault as it was yours. I was so in need of my morning coffee that I rushed to the drip after hearing the machine had broke. I should own you a coffee."

Okay before I tell you what happened next, take into account I hadn't had my morning cup of Joe yet so I wasn't thinking straight, hehe straight as if. Sorry, I have a really stupid sense of humour. Okay back to the story. I have no idea where the confidence came from but I replied with "If you're sure that your okay, and don't want me to get your dress cleaned then how about I take you up on that offer of you owing me coffee. Preferably when the machine is fixed." I mean pretty smooth if you ask me. Then again I did do finger guns towards her later when leaving the Weathervane. So? Bit awkward.

It took her a second or two to come back with a response. Verry worrying on my part. Almost fainted from embarrassment thinking I had the wrong idea. But all is well. She smiled, agreed and now I have a date with the most amazing woman in Jericho. Friday night, 9 a.m. Fun. Exciting really. Not utterly terrifying because I have no game like at all. I'm going to make an actual fool out of myself but it's all good.

Okay maybe today wasn't all bad, mostly bad but with a sprinkle of good. Look I can see the positives in things. I'm not always negative. Back to the present. Flashback over.

Currently, I'm stood in a very messy office. My very messy office, still wet office. Still not looking to good. Everything is soaking wet or water damaged. Damn. Hey look my clock still works, it reads 03:30. Nope nevermind it's off by an hour. How the hell did water do that. If you're interested in the actual time it's 2:30. Now what do I need...

Beep. Ooo the walkie talkie.

"Hey Sheriff, you might want to get down to the east side of the forest outside Nevermore, there's been another murder. Over."

Great. Just great.

I guess this calls for another trip to Nevermore.
