Sabrina’s Birthday
It had been a long day in hell: Sabrina’s birthday was coming up and with that and Samhain…there was a lot of preparation to do.
Seeing as the princess of Hell wanted to spend the holiday in the mortal realm with her friends: Lilith and Rowena began to work through the idea of going up as well. They’d need to inform the Spellmans of their arrival. Zelda would be less than pleased, that Lilith was sure of.
Zelda had always been cold towards Lilith and it just wasn’t fair. The old crone hadn’t met Rowena yet. How would she react? The woman whom she had such sexual tension with is married to another. Disaster is inevitable.
On the day of Samhain, Sabrina Spellman, Rowena Macleod, and Lilith all travelled up to the mortal realm in a burst of flame. They arrived in front of the Spellman Sister’s Mortuary (Funerals, Burials, and Rites).
“Are you sure about this, Sabrina?” Lilith asked, fidgeting with her wedding band. The young witch took her Hell-mother’s hand and smiled warmly.
“I’m sure.”
Rowena took Lilith's other hand and together, the three of them made their way to the mortuary door.
Ding dong
“For Satan’s sake-“ Zelda opens the door and is stunned by the presence of the three rulers. “Lilith? Sabrina?” She eyes the redhead next to her former nemesis: “Who are you?”
“My name is Rowena. I’m Lili’s wife.”
Zelda tenses and steps back. “Come in…” she says hesitantly. The woman instantly hugs her niece tightly, Hilda following close behind.
Hilda smiles at Rowena: “I don’t believe we’ve met.” She’s as kind as always. Rowena introduces herself to which Hilda is immediately excited. She’d heard about Rowena and her power from the grand coven.
Seeing this, Zelda rolled her eyes. She turns to Lilith. “I see you have a type, ‘Lili’.”
Sabrina steps in between her Hell-mothers and Zelda. “Don’t be rude, Auntie Zee.”
Rowena doesn’t back down, however. She hands her ground, straightening her back as she gazes up at the taller woman.
‘She’s even shorter than Lilith.’ Zelda thought to herself.
Tension in the house eventually settled and the party went on. Rosalind, Harvey, Theo, and Cheryl joined in on the celebration.
“Happy birthday!”
By the time Sabrina blew out her candles, it was time to go back to Hell. Rowena had fallen asleep on Lilith’s shoulder, the room practically glowed with their intertwined energy.
Lilith held her wife close and took Sabrina’s hand. In an instant they were back home, Lilith carried her wife to their bedroom and laid her down, tucking her in under the covers.
“Goodnight, my love.”
