I froze watching her turn to leave and before I could register what I was saying I spoke “wait...” I called making her stop and turn to me “hm?” she questioned “i…” I sighed “yeah you do know me” I replied she looked at me with a puzzled expression “though you know me better as the person i was at hexside although maybe this will help” I added pulling a photo from my pocket and handing it to her, her eyes widened in surprise looking at the photo the at me “Hunter!?” she spoke, I smiled “hey” I replied “oh my god hunter! Dude! We’ve been trying to reach you” willow spoke capturing me in a hug “I know I'm sorry, ok?” I laughed. “Well, we’re about to go meet luz and amity want to come with?” she asked the question made me tense and freeze up “i- don’t know I haven’t seen anyone since I’ve transitioned, and I just cut everyone off…” I trailed off “don’t worry they won't care but at the very least they deserve to see their friend and to know…you’re alive” she smiled “thanks...i think I’ll go” I replied to a small smile on my face willow lit up “Really?” she asked, and I nodded she squealed and hugged me tightly “I'll meet you outside” she added turning away “oh and willow?” I replied making her stop just shy of the door “it’s cassia she/her” I smiled willow simply nodded and walked out of the store I took off my gloves and called flapjack over before pushing open to the door to outside.
