When Shelby saw the wanted poster, she pulled it down and ran. She didn't know where she was running to, but she did. She ran and ran until she bumped into someone.
"Shelby, are you ok?" Katherine reaches a hand down to Shelby.
"Y-Yeah yeah I'm ok." Shebly blushes a lot and takes Katherine's hand. Katherine pulls her up and Shebly falls into her chest causing Katherine to blush.
"So uh what brings you to Glimmer Grove?" Katherine lets go of Shebly and takes a step away from her.
"I uh I uh I need a monster hunter." Shebly takes a step away from Katherine and towards the bounty board.
"Oh well put it up on the board and I'll see if the monster hunter can show up." Katherine winks at Shelby causing the witch to blush again.
"Oh well, I tell them I'm looking forward to seeing them." Shebly winks back at Katherine causing them both to blush even more.
"W-Well do." Katherine stutters and walks away to her castle. Shebly nods still blushing, walking towards the board before she was interrupted by Joey running up the stairs holding a bunch of gold jewelry pieces he probably stole.
"OHHHHHH PRINCESS PIRATE KATHERINE I HAVE PRESENTS." Joey runs into the castle pushing Shebly out of his way.
"RUDE" Shebly yells at Joey as she gets up from the ground and walks over to the board. It then does she realize that she doesn't need a monster killed she was just running and bumped into Katherine. She just decides to put down that she needs a couple of the monsters killed around her base. She waits for Joey to be chased out of the kingdom like he always does to talk to Katherine.
"GET OUT OF HERE JOEY" Shebly turns her head to see Katherine chasing Joey out of her castle.
"OH, BUT WE ARE TO BE WED DO YOU NOT WANT ME TO SEE YOU?" Joey turns around to face Katherine.
"I don't want to see you" Katherine points the tip of her sword at Joey's chest.
"Oh so you don't want to see me here you want me to see you outside your kingdom like on little dates" Joey moves the sword away from his chest and takes a step forward towards Katherine making Katherine take a step back. Katherine then makes eye contact with Shebly and pushes Joey to run over to Shebly.
"Shebly, you're still here. Hello." Katherine waves to her as she running.
"Yeah I was just waiting for the monster hunter since I'm pretty sure my request will take a bit of background information." Shebly waves back at Katherine and jogs to met her in the middle.
"Well let's get the unwanted guest over there gone and then we can talk" Katherine whipers to Shebly turning back around to face Joey who was a few feet away from them.
"Joey can you please leave? I have some things to discuss with Shelby here and I'm sure you also have things to do" Joey shakes his head.
"Actually I-"
"Ok great bye now" Katherine pushes Joey to the dock and waves him goodbye as he sails away. Katherine looks at Shebly making eye contact.
"So want did you want to take about?" Shebly blushes a bit from the eye contact before answering.
"I uh I uh just look at the board" Shebly smiles sheepishly as Katherine nods her head and starts the semi-long trip back to the board making small talk with Shebly. When they finally reach the board Katherine looked at the request.
"Why would I need more information about this?" Katherine asks looking at Shelby with a confused face.
"Well I-" Shebly gets cut off my Jimmy flying through the air above them.
"SHEBLY GRACE I SAW YOUR WANTED POSTER IF YOU DON'T WANT TO FIGHT OR GET HUNTED DOWN I SUGGEST YOU TURN YOURSELF IN."
Katherine looks at Shebly and asks, "What did he mean by wanted poster?"
"He means this" Shebly pulls out the wanted poster she had in her bag and hands it to Katherine, "This is why I'm here. I saw it, took it down and just ran until I dumped into you." Katherine takes the poster and asks "Well what did you do?"
"To make a long story short the school I went to that sent me here wanted me to come back and I didn't so now they have wanted posters for me. I swear Katherine I didn't do anything, I promise." Katherine rips up the poster.
"I believe you. The Shebly that I know, the same Shebly that is right in front of me has done nothing wrong to my knowledge."
"That's not true" Shebly looks down at her feet, "Remember I gave Fwhip that potion that made his ears all big and I gave Sausage that other potion that made him a zombie."
"And those were mistakes. You did nothing wrong to deserve having wanted posters," Katherine hears someone flying above them, "Quickly hide in one of the shops." Shebly follows Katherine's directions and hides in a shop putting her ear towards the wall in hopes of hearing what's going on. Katherine looks up to the sky to see Jimmy coming in for a landing.
"Hello Katherine."
"Hello Sheriff, why you are here?"
"I got word that Shelby Grace was here."
"From who"
"Can't tell ya, just answer the question."
"What question Sheriff?"
"Have you seen Shebly anywhere?"
"Yes sir, a few days ago she came here to put a request on the bounty board for the monster slayer. I haven't seen her since though. Have you checked the swamp?"
"No I haven't, are you sure you haven't seen here?" Katherine nods her head, "Alright then have a nice day miss." and just like that Jimmy flies away heading towards the swamp. Katherine makes her way over to the shop and opens the door, "Shelby it's safe for now." Shelby looks at Katherine seeing how the sun light looks like a halo around her head. Shelby was so caught up in admiring Katherine that she didn't realize that she was being dragged to the castle. Shelby couldn't care less, she was just admiring the others muscles and how smart Katherine is and how much Shelby would love to just give her a little kiss just to see Katherine blush. Shelby breaks from her love induced haze to see Katherine looking at her with a worried expression.
"Shebly, are you ok? You have been staring at me for the past 15 minutes." Katherine wraps her arms around Shebly, "Can I pick you up?" Shebly nods her head quickly, and Katherine picks her up bridal style. They both start blushing as Katherine walks up the stairs to her bedroom. She opens the door and places down Shebly on her bed. As Katherine is about to walk away, her arm gets pulled on. Katherine turns around to face Shebly.
"Why did you help me?" Shebly asks, not realizing that they are holding hands.
"Well, because I know that you didn't do anything to deserve a wanted poster." Katherine sits down on the bed next the Shebly still holding her hand.
"But what if I did." Shebly looks at Katherine, the smile that Katherine gave her was so sweet something Shebly believed she doesn't deserve. She doesn't deserve Katherine or any other of her friends. Katherine moves the hand that isn't holding Shelby's hand to Shelby's face looking in her eyes.
"I would still help you, I would never betray your trust never. I-" Katherine cuts herself off looking away.
"You what?" Shebly uses her other hand to guide Katherine's eyes back to met her own.
"I-I uh I love you." Katherine admits wanting to run away from this situation.
"I love you to" Shebly brings both her hands to cup Katherine's face, "I love you so much, I just didn't know what would be the right time or if you even felt the same."
"Oh Shebly," Katherine leans into the touch putting both her hands on top of Shebly's, "We can't be together though." Katherine starts crying.
"Why? Why can we not be together? Is it the kingdom?" Shebly pulls Katherine closer to her. Katherine puts her head on Shebly's shoulder.
"The village thinks I'm cursed, me and you dating will only enhance that." Just then Shebly gets an idea.
"What if we date secretly?" Katherine takes her head off Shebly's shoulder and shakes her head.
"We are to much of a mainstream thing individually. We can never date until I figure out a way to get rid of the rumor that I'm cursed. Not speaking of your a wanted criminal. Any minute now Jimmy will come back asking questions."
"Kill him" Shebly looks at Katherine with a confident look.
"I can't just kill the Sheriff because we want to date."
"Why not? I can take down all the posters and you can kill Jimmy." Katherine takes both of Shebly's hands off her face.
"Shebly we need to talk seriously. We can take down the posters but that will get both of us in bigger problems. Please Shebly just forget I ever told you I have feelings for you. I will continue to help you hide away from the Sheriff." Shelby looks at Katherine with her eyes watering.
"Ok I understand. I'm sorry I told you I loved you just please don't act like you don't love me too. I just can't bare to know that the one person I love hates me-" Katherine interrupts her.
"I didn't say I hated you I just said that I can't love you even though I do. Not speaking of Joey," Katherine looks away from Shebly taking her hands away from her, "Just don't mention the whole crush thing." Shebly nods getting up off the bed.
"Well it was nice taking to you." Shebly starts to walk to the door.
"Where are you going?"
"I'm going to go turn myself in, what's the point in still running. The only reason I ran was to make sure you don't see how I really am. Now that you saw there is no reason for me to continue running."
"Can't you wait a few more seconds." Shebly turns around.
"What?" The door behind Shebly gets pushed causing Shebly to fall to the floor then Joey enters the room
"So this is where you have been hiding." Joey looks at Shebly, "Thanks for telling me princess." Shebly turns her head to Katherine.
"So all those things weren't true. I guess you don't love me after all. Get on with it Joey. Kill me do it, turn me in to get the reward money." Joey takes out his sword and pushes the point towards Shebly's chest.
"Any last words Shebly Grace?"
"Yes, I love you Katherine and I mean that." Shebly continues to look at Katherine watching as Katherine tries not to cry.
"I'm sorry." Katherine whispers as the tip of the sword finally went through the body.
"Thank you again princess, I'll be sure that you get half of the reward money."
"I don't want the money, just leave." Joey nods his head and leaves. Katherine runs over to Shebly who is still bleeding and cups Shebly's face.
"Shebly Shebly Shebly please I love you I love you please don't go I want to see you again please. Come back to me when you respawn." Shebly looks up at Katherine and nods her head and just like that Shebly's body turns to dust. Katherine, now alone in her room, cries for the love she lost. She knows that Shebly will return but they confessed their feeling to each other and one of them had to watch the other die. One thing was correct they could never be together publicly no matter how many times Katherine wished upon an star.
