Chapter 7
After a day spent fixing the house and sharing dinner, Lee Cheong-san found himself struggling with conflicting emotions. Though he enjoyed the beautiful sunset views, he grappled with the stark reality of his new existence, which involved eating raw animal meat and resisting his primal instincts.
The scent emanating from Gwinam, who sat nearby, grew increasingly difficult to ignore, and Lee Cheong-san found himself fighting the urge to give in to his desires. He clenched his fists, determined to control his instincts and resist the temptation that seemed to pull him closer to Gwinam with each passing moment. As he finished his meal, the raw meat and blood still clinging to his tongue, Lee tried to distract himself by focusing on other thoughts. But the scent from Gwinam continued to linger in the air, stirring a primal hunger within him. It took every ounce of his willpower to resist the urge to act on his instincts, knowing the consequences it could have on their relationship.Lee glanced over at Gwinam, silently pleading for his companion to remain unaware of the internal struggle he was facing.
"Let's go outside and watch the stars," Lee Cheong-san proposed, hoping the change of scenery and the distraction of the night sky might help him overcome the intense scent that Gwinam emitted.
With a smile on his face and a twinge of nervousness, Lee tried to appear normal as he suggested the outing, silently praying that he would be able to keep his instincts in check. As they stepped outside, the cool night air washed over them. Lee took a deep breath, trying to calm his racing thoughts and the primal urges that threatened to overwhelm him. The stars twinkled above, casting a soothing light across the evening sky. He turned to face Gwinam, taking in the sight of his companion under the starlight.Despite the allure of the stars and the beauty of the night, Lee's instincts remained on high alert. Every time the breeze carried Gwinam's scent towards him, his body tensed, and his mind was flooded with primal thoughts. He silently gritted his teeth, praying that he could hold on and maintain control for just a little longer.Lee tried to focus on the stars, mentally counting them and making patterns in the sky to distract himself. But as the scent of Gwinam grew stronger with each second, he found it harder and harder to resist the urges that gnawed at his every thought.
Lee's grip on his self-control was beginning to slip, and he felt the beast within him growing restless, pushing to the surface, begging to be released.
