Chapter 1

It was a quiet Sunday night when it had occured. The T.V was focused on the news, a report from Zuzu city. Three friends sat on the couch focused intently on it, "This just in, We are currently on the scene of a fight between the Villain known as Weaver and the Hero known as StarWeaver" The helicopter holding the reporter jerked suddenly causing the report to hold onto something to not fall out, as the camera man turned his camera to the scene below. "As you can see StarWeaver is currently gunning for the win, Just look at how fast he moved on his feet, He'll surely win this fight!".

The footage was slightly blurry but it was unclear to see what was happening. "Come on Weaver you can do it kick his butt!" one of the friends, a girl with purpled hair leaned forward. Eyes glued to the T.V. Ever since the heroes showed up in Zuzu City, a place away from the small valley where the three lived. It became a tradition to watch the news from the city every Sunday night, for this was when their favorite Heroes and or Villains would be fighting.

Sam rolled his eyes, knowing how much Abigail loved Weaver. The same could be said for Sebastian, who just sat quietly enjoying the news. Sam was cheering for the hero, albeit it silently in his head. But his eyes widened as StarWeaver's form moved quickly, and even in the darkness everyone could see. A dark substance leaked from Weavers mouth as she stumbled holding the wound on her stomach. Her threads going limp, not saving her as she lost her footing and plummeted down, off the tall tower her and StarWeaver had just been fighting on.

The Camera man shifted the angle of the camera, the focus back on the reporter. Her eyes held fear and worry, "The fight has taken a turn for the worse, Weaver has taken a plummet" Her voice wavered as she spoke. "Her threads were unable to catch her body, This just in Randal has been spotted" the focus was back to the building zooming in below. Where the figure of Weaver lay, her head in the lap of a figure clad in a white hoodie with red cuffs. The villain known as Randal, whose mask was getting stained as tears fell down Their face. "I have gotten news from below".

The sky crew was swapped as another reporter came into frame from below, a clearer shot on Randal and Weaver. The puddle of blood, the red oozing from Weavers lips. Her body lay limp as Randal let out a scream crying for their fallen friend. The reporter on the ground, made certain not to get closer. His hands shook holding his microphone, he was saying words but nobody in the room listened.

Abigail was finding it hard to breath, her hands shook as tears formed in her eyes. Sam felt sick all of a sudden, Starweaver had caused this he killed someone. Sam's favorite hero, had killed someone. In the moment of all of their panics, they watched Starweaver descend down. Blood on his hands, Randal glared at him through teary eyes. Starweaver got down, holding his hands out, "Come on, Weaver please!" he begged "Please come back to me, I didn't mean to do this, No, No, NO!" his scream was loud as his powers refused to heal what was already gone.

"It was your fault!" Randal snapped, their tone harsh "You killed her and now you couldn't even save her, and yet you call yourself the Number Two it's Pathetic!" Randal lifted Weavers body up, holding her in their arms. Their white hoodie getting stained in the blood of a friend, "Your nothing but a PAWN! A STUPID IGNORANT FOOL!" the wind howled as Randal grew more enranged. Harshly blowing their hair and Starweavers. "SHE'S DEAD AND GONE AND IT'S ALL YOUR DAMN FAULT!"

Starweaver stumbled as he stood, Bloodied hands. Taking in every word Randal was saying. "YOUR RIGHT I AM A FOOL! I'M PATHECTIC! I'M WORTHLESS! and I don't deserve to be called a hero let alone the Number Two on the charts!" his throat must have hurt as he yelled, tears streaming down his face. "I cannot go on with Everything I have done, I should be In Her Place! I should be the one dead not her all because of my ego and now she's gone because of that I refuse to stay standing here saying I'm a Hero!" he turned his gaze toward the camera "No More will I play this game as a Fool, No more will I allow this to go on any longer, I do not deserve the name nor the title of StarWeaver and for that I am stepping down!"

"Go ahead take the cowards way out, But this doesn't change anything, You've made an enemy today StarWeaver, And when the time comes you'll pay your dues" Randal spoke, deciding in that moment to take their leave. Body in their arms, as the one once known as StarWeaver looked back at the cameras broadcasting their every move. He had nothing left to scream, no words left to say.

The News broadcast ended after a moment of silence passed. Sebastian was the one to hit the off button on the remote, his face blank but his eyes held various emotions. Sam, kept his mouth shut knowing he had nothing to say that would help the situation. Abigail, sat staring at her hands trying to blink away her tears. Black streaks ran down her cheeks, she took a breath in and out. Sebastian grabbed the blanket that they had placed on the arm of the couch earlier, drapping it over the three of them. Abagail cuddled into the blanket, Sam scooted closer to his friends.

The night ended with the three of them sitting in silence, wrapped in a blanket. Unaware of what was really occurring In Zuzu City at the moment.

<------> <-----> <----->

Once the cameras were off, and the broadcast was done. StarWeaver found himself inside the building of the commission, two villains standing beside him. One that the public had just seen 'die'. Weaver turned her head, "You went a little off script there" she spoke, taking the water bottle offered to her. She used it to wash out the taste of the fake blood capsule, a creation she didn't quite enjoy using but for something as big as this there was no other way. The fake blood the company used inside the capsule was safe to consume, but it tasted rather horrible.

Starweaver smirked, "Well the script was a little boring so we improvised a bit of the lines" he spoke, gaining a look from one of his supervisors. He gave a smile "Maybe all of it was improvised, Your script was very tasteless, Me and Randal had to add our own lines, Plus the public is gonna eat it up" he ran a hand through his hair. "I just see the papers now, Hero Starweaver retired, Villain Weaver dead and Villain Randal missing in action".

The supervisor gave a sigh, face stern. "With your performance were bound to have crime rate lowered or heightened, However that is an issue for the future" he looked at the three of them, before giving a smile. "For now let us congratulate you on your retirement, For three years we watched you grow into the hero and villain role you were assigned to and now we cut our ties" he stood up, as the room became brighter and others showed themselves. "Before you set out into the world let us celebrate this joy full event".

E-sper, number one on the charts for the villains. Lifted one of their wings, which held a wine glass. The short bird like creature, opened their beak "Given my status it was only fair that I begin with the long wind of speeches to come for this night" They spoke. "When Weaver first joined our ranks, My first thought that this hatchling didn't have much a chance out there, But now I see her as a full fledged crow ready to spread her wings er well strings and take off to start something new, It pains me to say goodbye but it was bound to happen one day, Be safe out there my friend I'll say tonight for a new adventure awaits".

E-sper lowered their wing and another took a stand. "When Starweaver began this job, I knew then and there what his role would be in this company" Essence spoke, the hero to E-spers villain. "Be that this was only but a gig, All an act and all but staged he played his part well and I give him a congratulations on my behalf, His acting tonight only shows how far he had come and it brings a tear to my eye to say a farewell, May we one day meet again my friend!".

Swagger was the next to go, Raising a wine glass. "The name Randal was given by the public but to us the name Binary means a lot more" Swagger spoke, voice bold and proud. "Raise among the ranks wherever the tides may take you! Be you Randal, Binary or any name you choose for yourself out there!" Swagger smiled, "Played the part well I must say, A good friend I made over the years, It's shame you must leave but this is not a goodbye".

Real tears fromed in the eyes of the red haired villain, they were the youngest in this room and even so they were glad someone gave them a word of not a goodbye. "Randal is how to put this a worm under my heel, A short fiery spit fire who always gets under my skin" Stelliana's voice rose above all rest, a hero who the public mistook as a female. He was pretty yes, but rotten and spiteful even so his next words surprised all in the room. "But, Their performance was magical it was perfect and I hope wherever they are to end up after this it is at least better then this disgusting city".

Swag-King spoke next, the Villain of Swaggers story to the public. "Randal, Starweaver and Weaver, As we may know them but some of us know them by other names, Names that make the three of them family in my eyes" Swag-King smiled, "The day the public chose those names for each of them, I remember it rather well and I'll never forget it, As Swagger states this isn't a goodbye its a Till we meet again!".

Swag-Kings speech was met with a teary eyed smile from Randal and Starweaver. Weaver only shook her head, allowing only a small smile to show. "Even if miles apart this place truly has become a second home to me" Starweaver spoke, "All of you including Stelliana, Have supported me from the start in this endeavor, Being born one of the Twenty Percent has never once been been an easy step but now, Even if I gotta say a farewell from this life I won't ever forget any of you" Starweaver placed an arm around the shoulders of Weaver whom gave a sigh knowing what the older wanted from her.

"I won't give some big speech, It isn't my style and neither are teary eyed heartfelt goodbyes" Weaver spoke, "This world is dark, unforgiving and cruel" she stared directly at all of them. "No amount of light has ever been able to break through my cloud of darkness" a smile, "Until I met all of you, The family I never knew I needed, and maybe just maybe I will miss you idiots when I'm gone".

Randal smiled brightly at that, "When my cousin first got me stuck with this name, I was furious with him, I even swapped out his shampoo for an off brand one and man was he furious" they watched everyone crack a smile at that, everyone except for Stelliana who glared in Randal's direction. "Being one of the youngest villains taught me the world will be bias, That our costume designer needs a reality check, and that no matter the hardships, no matter how many people try and dim your spark, There's always people waiting for you to give you the kind of warmth no one else did, and for that I'm thankful I met all of you".

Their supervisors watched the interaction from where they stood behind their large desk. The four brothers shared a look, a smile knowing what they had created was a good thing. They watched as a promise was made between the eight of them that night, and that was more then enough for them. One of the brothers left for a moment, before returning pushing a cart forward that held a large cake decorated skillfully. The words 'Happy Retirement' written in frosting lay on top of the cake for all to see. Pieces were cut off handed to each member on a plastic blue plate.

When the party ends, and the final goodbyes are given. A single photo taken was enough for all of them, a memory of their family that would be hung up on the wall behind the four supervisors. Wherever the world may take the three in their next adventure it would hopefully be just as memorable as this one. A chapter of their lives within Zuzu city comes to an end and soon a new chapter begins located in a place called Stardew Valley.
