Chapter 1
We're finally here... The last Tame Pack in the country. I'm not ready to go back home yet so we'll stay here for a while. I've already had myself and most of The Pack members that are travelling with me enrolled in Bradlington High. The only ones that aren't registered are the 'legal guardians'. My Pack is huge as we're the ruling Pack of Wolfbloods. However, only a small amount of The Pack is currently with me. My mom only agreed to let me travel to The Packs if I only visited Tame Packs and I took members of The Pack with me as bodyguards. She claims it's too dangerous for the Wolfblood Princess, who's not even of age, to travel alone.
Our Pack has over one hundred members (even though the largest Packs (other than ours) tend to vary from fifteen to twenty) but only Josh, Jamie, Kate, Matt, Luke, Taylor, Harry, Mary and Ben came with me. We were supposed to visit before now but Dennis (a member of our Pack who was travelling with us) was killed by a hunter we ran into. I used Ansin and Eolas to identify, track and kill the hunter but we still had to perform the Rite of Friogearde to guide him to the One Pack in the Sky or his soul would've been lost forever. Then, there was the Eclipse... But, we're here now. We're going to visit The Stoneybridge Pack after school in three days but tomorrow's our first day at school so we'll run into the Tame Wolfblood kids before officially meeting The Stoneybridge Pack. I'm tired, I set my alarm and go to sleep.

My alarm goes off and wakes me up. I'm kind of excited. I've never been to public school before. The school I used to go to was a private boarding school (Nursery to Sixth Form) for Wolfbloods only. Tame Wolfbloods from all around the country go there as well as all the school-age Wolfbloods in my Pack. It'll be very different going to a human school. I'm a little nervous about being around that many humans... I'll take a little Dolhdrenc before I go. It can't hurt. Dolhdrenc is Wolfblood for Healing Potion after all (even if it really acts more of a confidence booster than anything else). I heard a knock on the door. "Athena, we're gonna be late if you don't get up now!" Matt told me.
"I'm up!" I yelled at him. I take the Dolhdrenc and dress for school. I may have to wear an ugly school uniform but I can wear my black, leather jacket and put it in my locker later. My bedroom was the cellar. It was bigger than any of the rooms and it's directly connected to the back door and kitchen. Mary and Ben share a room (they actually are a couple), Matt and Kate share a room (as they're also a couple), Josh and Harry share a room (as the twins wanted to share), Jamie and Taylor share a room (as the last two girls) and Luke has a room all to himself as the odd one out (though we'd tell people Matt and Luke share and Kate has her own room).
The bedroom that was supposed to be mine is a guest bedroom along with the three bedrooms that actually are guest bedrooms. Each bedroom and guest bedroom has an ensuite bathroom (apart from mine but we had a bathroom installed in the cellar before we made it my room so I have that to myself). We also have three other bathrooms, three living rooms (one for the adults, one for the kids and one for everyone), a dining room, a gaming room (full of different Playstations, Xboxs, etc), a movie room, a Gym and a pool. Most of the rooms we had built and furnished after buying a small, three-bedroom house here to ensure it had enough rooms (as no house here did) and was up to our standards. We even had the kitchen re-done and the pool put in as the kitchen was horrible and we wanted a pool.
"Come on!" Taylor yelled.
"I'm coming!" Mary drives Taylor, Kate, Jamie and me to school while Ben drives Josh, Harry, Matt and Luke to school. Once we're all at the school, we go into the office to get everything sorted out and meet my Form Tutor and Head of Year, Mr Jeffries. Mrs Fitzgerald told him about the situation.
"So, you all live together but aren't related?" He asked.
"Yeah," Mary said. "Hi, I'm Mary Wolf and this is my husband, Ben." She pointed Ben out and he greeted Jeffries. "This is our daughter, Athena."
"Hi," I said before shaking his hand.
"These are our adopted kids Matt and Jamie Woods. They're twins," Ben said. Matt and Jamie said hi but I struggled not to laugh at how unenthusiastic they were.
"Hi, I'm Luke Moon. My parents died when I was seventeen and my siblings were put into foster care while I got myself emancipated. I turned eighteen on September 1st so I went through the process of becoming their legal guardian. I'm in Year 12 because losing my parents and not being able to see my siblings all the time caused me to act out and not pay attention in school so I failed my exams last year and now I'm resitting the year. Things are better now, though so I promise not to cause problems. I have to be a responsible role model to my little siblings."
"Hi. I'm Kate Moon and this is my twin sister Taylor." Taylor waved before ignoring the situation again. Harry snickered at the surname. I came up with the surnames Wolf, Woods and Moon as a joke that only Wolfbloods would get as they could scent the Wolfblood in us. "Our birthday is in October and our little siblings, Josh and Harry Moon," Kate said. Josh waved at his name and Harry nodded his head. "As you can see are identical twins. Their birthday is in August so we're in the same year."
"Okay, then. So, Athena, Kate, Taylor, Josh and Harry are Year 10s. Jamie and Matt are Year 11s and Luke is a Year 12. Is that right?"
"Yes," Mary, Ben and Luke said.
"Okay, here's your timetables," Mrs Fitzgerald said as she passed them out. "And a map of the school is always on the wall opposite the office." She pointed at the map on the wall opposite us.
"I do believe it's now Form time," Jeffries said. "So, Athena, Kate, Taylor, Josh and Harry, follow me. Jamie, Matt and Luke, best get on to your Form. Don't want to be late." We followed him to the class and could smell three Wolfblood scents that enter the room. I focused my hearing as we got closer to the classroom.
"Can you smell that?" A boy asked as he and two others sniffed deeply.
"Other Wolfbloods," a girl growled. Her voice is kinda sexy. She's the only one in that room that I'm looking forward to meeting.
"What? Here?" Another girl asked.
"How many of you are there?" A different boy asked.
"They should know better than to invade our territory," a third girl growled. There are only three Wolfbloods, the first boy and girl and the last girl, so a boy and girl human know what we are. Great. Ugh.
"How many Wolfbloods are coming?" The second boy asked.
"I can scent five. We're outnumbered," the girl with the sexy voice said.
"Are they Wild Wolfbloods? Are they from Alric's Pack?" The last girl asked.
"No," the first boy said.
"I don't recognise the scents. They're not from my father's Pack," the sexy-voiced girl said. So she's a Wild Wolfblood, huh? Or used to be given that she said 'my father's Pack' and not 'my Pack' and she's hanging out with Tame Wolfbloods. We enter the room and Jeffries explains who we are to the class as we sit down.
"Athena Wolf, Kate Moon, Taylor Moon, Harry Moon and Josh Moon are new students here along with their older siblings Matt Woods and Jamie Woods who are Year 11s and Luke Moon who is a Year 12. I expect you'll make them all feel very welcome. Now, on with our lesson..." The two boys and three girls continue their conversation and I learn the Wolfbloods are a blonde boy, a brunette girl and a redheaded girl (the one with the sexy voice) and the redhead is gorgeous. She's also my mate. She's MINE! I start growling lowly and the Tame Wolfbloods start growling too. This causes my Pack to growl back.
"You don't belong here," the brunette Wolfblood whispered.
"Leave, now," the blonde Wolfblood whispered.
"Rhydian!" Jeffries yells.
"Yes, sir?" The boy Wolfblood asks. So his name is Rhydian, huh? Weird.
"Is there something you and Maddy want to share with the class?" He asked. So the brunette Wolfblood is Maddy.
"No, sir." Jeffries nodded at Rhydian's words and continued with whatever he was saying. During the lesson, I find out the human girl is Shannon and the human boy is Tom but I still don't know the name of my mate. There's three human girls called Kara, Katrina and Kay who are interested in Josh and Harry. There are also three human boys called Jimi, Sam and Liam who are interested in Taylor and Kate. Too bad they don't stand a chance Kate's in a relationship and Taylor's gay. Even if they weren't, no member of The Pack that are with me would consider dating a human.
The rest of the day's kind of boring.

That was great! During Gym, we got to see Jimi kicking Tom's ass (it was so funny) and I found out the gorgeous girl with the sexy voice is called Jana. My mate... She's amazing but wants to leave Stoneybridge with Rhydian for her father's Pack and they're keeping it from Maddy, Shannon and Tom. During first break, I found out that Jana's father kicked her out of his Pack, tried to kill Rhydian and is now willing to let them both go back... Kinda suspicious but okay. Jana can't leave. She's mine! If I can get Maddy to find out, then maybe she can convince them not to leave... I did hate when Tom suggested that Jana and Rhydian are together, though. SHE... IS... MINE! I let out a quiet growl. It was kinda funny seeing Shannon try to convince Jana to give her the ingredients for Dolhdrenc and get harshly turned down. I didn't like what she said in art class about how she's 'done playing it nice', though.
...
Today, we got to see Tom throw Jimi down in Judo and everyone laughed at him. It was cool seeing as yesterday he was getting his ass kicked. We told Maddy, Jana, Shannon, Tom and Rhydian that we wanted an official Pack introduction so Mary and Ben came to pick us up again. They drove Shannon, Tom and Jana instead of me, Jamie and Matt. We ran there with Maddy and Rhydian so we got there first. When we did, Maddy's mom had all of Rhydian's stuff packed and said he was going to live with his foster parents again.
When the others got there, we introduced ourselves and they were shocked that they were in the presence of Wolfblood Royalty (Tom, Shannon, Rhydian and Jana didn't know Wolfbloods had a royalty). They were more shocked when I told them Jana was my mate. She refused to accept it. I told her I wasn't going to force a relationship on her and if we had a relationship, it would form naturally and we'd go at any pace she'd like. When we got home, I told Mary to put in for us to foster Rhydian instead of the Vaughans so he'd be with others of his own kind. He'd share a room with Luke.
