Sean woke up early today.

He climbed out of bed.

Him and his partners all had a shared bed but also had their own rooms for a safe private space. They had all slept in the shared bed last night.

They wanted to cuddle and have a movie night.

Today, Oblivion and Emmy had a small pond date so Sean had a picnic planned for himself and Aimsey.

The male got a picnic basket ready and got dressed as well. He was dressed in a brown mushroom hat, with a tan unbuttoned shirt with a deep brown mushroom top underneath. He wore black corduroy pants with black boots. The male slipped on his black fingerless gloves and got a small side bag to take with him. Putting on “fairy wing” earrings and his wedding rings along with a few other random rings. Finally tying the whole outfit together with his dog tags and eyeliner.

He then finished up the basket.

Once the heart shaped picnic basket was ready he danced around the kitchen. Making breakfast for his small family.

Each would want something different.

For Calsifer and their son Robbie, he made cheesy scrambled eggs. For Jasper he made a cup of chai tea latte along with a lemon scone. For Oblivion he made a frosted cinnamon roll. And for Emmy he fixed together some waffles. Himself and Aimsey would be eating the picnic for their breakfast.

As he made the meals, the sun started to rise. Her golden rays seeped through the window and danced with Sean as they worked.

He could see the dew grass sparkle in the early morning light. He smiled as he finished up the dish he was working on.

Slipping off his boots and socks he opens the back sliding door. Almost silently. The male rushed into the back yard.

Laughing and howling to the new morning.

He could hear the morning animals starting to come out and those of the night heading away.

He laughed loudly as he ran towards the house after running in the backyard.

Their house was a small cottage. Big enough to fit their large family. But not too big to feel empty when no one was awake. It was perfect. Their house had been built into an old tree root. It was a very large tree, like many of them around. In the front yard sat a small pond, with clear water, and fish swam happily. Their backyard was a small clearing in the trees. The only way to the house was a footpath. It was gorgeous.

Sean jumped onto the rope that hung from the roof. He swung around and kicked off the tree root that surrounded the house. He flipped up and onto the small platform attached to the roof.

He sat down, dropping the rope down again as he watched the sun finish rising.

Gods did he love this small life of his.

Sean closed his eyes as the soft golden rays warmed the male's face.

He smiled.

A butterfly landed on his knee. Sean opened his eyes and looked down.

Noticing the butterfly he tensed up, his chest tightening. He screamed and quickly hopped off the roof and ran inside.

Sean had an unreasonable fear of butterflies.

Probably because butterflies can kill, and drink blood.

He caught his breath before he finished cooking in silence. Only taking a few minutes to shake the encounter with a butterfly.

Finally finishing off breakfast meals, luckily nothing got cold.

He brought everything to their respective owners in bed. Most of his family suffered from low blood sugar, so he made it a habit to bring them breakfast in bed.

Jasper wasn’t woken up but had his food set at the side table next to his bed. Calsifer was slightly shaken and helped sit up before giving his breakfast. Robbie, his son, was already awake but hadn’t left bed yet when he brought the food in.

Finally he entered his shared room. Lightly waking them all up. He gave Emmy and Oblivion their food.

Gaining a sad look from Aimsey. Who was suddenly picked up by the goblincore boyfriend.

Aimsey’s eyes widened as they laughed, quickly holding onto the smaller. Sean explained to his lover that they would be going out.

Emmy and Oblivion looked like lost puppies as if asking if they were coming.

“What? You both are going on your pond date!”

Sean said quickly, yeah he wanted more than anything to bring all of them, the whole family. But he had only packed for him and Aimsey. And he wanted the other to feel appreciated.

After promising to make dates for the other two he left the room carrying the other. Xe not putting up a fight at this.

Sean then set the other down before taking it’s hand on his own.

“Let’s go! I’ve got the perfect spot.”

He said smiling to the other.

Aimsey was about to agree but quickly had to go get dressed. Sean tried to explain that the craze looked great but scruff was already gone by then. Sean sighed as he sat against the sliding glass door and waited for the other to be ready.

Almost ten minutes later popcorn came back. Sean spoke before looking up at them.

“We ready t-''

He was taken back upon looking at the male. He stared in awe as his face lit up red.

The male was wearing a black button up shirt with deep blue pants. Their signature white beanie. Finally Black boots to match his own.

Thinking of which he quickly puts on with his socks after realizing he hasn’t had them on. He smiles holding a hand out.

“My love?”

He offered. Aimsey chuckles as pop takes his hand.

The two run out the back door. Sean was rambling about how perfect the spot he found was. Aimsey was giggling as they agreed that it would be perfect.

The male then slowed down, coming to an even walking pace. Aimsey gave a confused look. Sean explains his reasoning.

“I want you to experience the whole experience.”

Was his reasoning. Craze laughed at that but followed along.

Both would point out things to one another. Like Sean would point out all the mushrooms and spots that looked really pretty in the morning light. And Aimsey would point out animals or specific types of plants.

Together they took about half an hour to actually make it to the spot Sean was taking them to.

It was a large open clearing. You could clearly see the sky. Further around the clearing was a cherry blossom tree, scattering pink leaves around. It was calming.

Sean physically untensed at the sight. Aimsey’s eyes widened and seemed to glow in the light.

Those beautiful blue eyes.

Scruff letting out a content sigh at the sight. Sean smiled at the reaction.

“Well? Go choose a spot to sit.”

He said smiling. Aimsey quickly ran off without a second thought.

Only now noticing a small stream that ran through the whole clearing. The water is almost crystal clear.

They hopped the stream with ease. Sean followed after, holding the small heart shaped picnic basket. Aimsey sat down, kinda close to the small stream but not too close. There behind them was a cherry blossom.

Sean sat down the basket and grabbed out the blanket, Aimsey moved from on the grass to sitting on the blanket with the other. Sean took out the others food and drink. Then taking his own out.

Aimsey had a creme brulee and hibiscus tea. Sean had a strawberry and nutella crepe along with cinnamon hot chocolate.

Aimsey let out a squeal and happily flapped their hands when seeing the food their lover had made them. Sean smiled with a soft consistante “tail” wag.

Both ate and laughed as the sun danced around them. The cherry blossoms leaves falling around them.

After eating breakfast the two ran around looking at plants and climbing trees. Sean suddenly tagged the other and ran off.

Aimsey quickly chases after them. Both yelling and laughing.

Sean suddenly trips into the stream. Aimsey laughs loudly until they get dragged into the water as well.

Both laughed at each other as they climbed out of the stream.

All in all the two had a great time.

They stayed the whole day out in that forest.

Laughing and smiling.

Until the end of time.
