Luna and Storm's Planning.
Luna’s Point Of View
Ok, now this was getting a bit weird, Luna thought, Why does she act as if I am supposed to know her?
Out loud, Luna said, “Uh, I am wondering…Why are you acting as if I am supposed to know you?”
Luna flicked his wings in impatience while he waited for her to answer.
“Well, I was here for years, and you were too. We weren’t really friends, more like acquaintances” Storm said then in a mumble she said, “I also kinda betrayed you”
“Hmm, doesn’t ring a bell, sorry. I don’t even remember you being here. Huh.” Luna said, his expression odd.
“Do you, by any chance, have any jewelry on, like a necklace?” Storm said curious
“No, no. But I do have an earring. It was given to me by my mother before she…well, passed.” Luna said, confused.
“Take it off”
“its all I have left of my mother. It doesn’t make me comfortable taking it off, even for a few seconds…” Luna said, his face wincing.
“Take it off, or I will”
“Hey! If you do, I will not be happy. FINE, three moooooooons!” Luna took it off and held it in his palm. Nothing happened.
“Do you remember me now?”
“Hmm? No.” Luna said peering at his earring in his talons.
“Hmm” Storm hummed,” Could I see it for a sec?”
“Ummm…I guess?” He held it out to Storm.
Storm swatted it out of his hand as soon as he held it out.
He blinked as soon as it left his scales.
“Storm?” He asked.
“You remember me NOW?” Storm said tired
“Yeah…” He said, wearily, as if he expected her to betray him again.
“Ohhhh, so you rememberrr?” Storm said warily
“Why wouldn’t I, Storm.” Luna said, with a touch of emotion she could not read.
“Hehehehehh, about that…. I’m super sorry!” Storm said too loud,”You see, I was trying to find ways to escape and that means I needed the supplies from that mission, all of them”
“Oh, come on, you think I can forgive you? DO YOU KNOW THREE MOONS WHAT THE BOSS DID WHEN I CAME BACK EMPTY-TALONED?!?!” Luna whispered fiercely.
“hehehehehehhh, yeahhh sorryyy” Storm said
“Hmp.” He said.
Opal came in and said, “Storm! The boss wants me to ask you to show me where I can sleep?”
Storm snapped her head, “Uhh, yes! Right this way Opal”
Luna was surprised and whispered quickly to Storm, “What is going on? Did the Boss let you back into the Villain Group? Not that I care, I don’t really want to be in it anymore, anyways.”
“Pretend, remember?” Storm hissed through a fake smile.
Luna blinked and then realized what she had meant and also hissed through a fake smile, “We should probably talk later.”
Storm ran over to Opal while yelling “See ya later Luna!”
Opal blinked. “Who’s Luna?”
“The grumpy one behind us” Storm said
“Hey, you two, I am not that grumpy” Luna said.
Opal giggled.
Storm laughed “Byyyyye”
“Bye.” Luna said.
Storm’s Point of View
Once they got to her room, Opal said, “Thankkkkssssss Storm!” before disappearing into her room.
“Yep!” Storm said
Talons echoed in the tunnel.
“Hello,” Pearline said. There was a flash of silver at her ear.
Storm though for a moment “Uh, hello! I am new here, names Storm!”
“Ah, that’s why I never seen you before; Names Pauline.”
“Oh hey, I love that earing” Storm said
“Oh, than---” Pauline starts to say.
Before Pauline gets the word out Storm says,” Now take it off”
“Do you want to try it on or something?” Pauline said, confused.
“Uh, Sure”
“Well, alright!” Pauline held it out to Storm.
Storm, yet again, swatted the earing away, “Oh, whoops”
And, just like Luna, Pearline blinked and then said, “OMG, STORMMMM!”
“PEARLLLLL, Whats up!!!!!!” Storm said jumping to hug her
Pearl hugged Storm and said, “Ya know, I don’t even know.”
Storm face palmed,”Righhht, sorry bout that” Storms face lit up, “You know who I got on our side?”
“OMG STORM WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO”
“Luna! We can take them now!”
“Oh my goodness, that is the best news in I dunno HOW LONG”
“I KNOW! Hey, I just wanna apologize for leaving you here, I just really needed to get out. I know we had a plan” Storm said her face suddenly sinking
“Ya know, ever since the night we made the plan, everything is…fuzzy.”
“I think I know why, the boss, he gave you guys earings and it brain washed you. I don’t know how, but I escaped it”
“OH THAT MOONS-FORSAKEN grrrrrrrrrrrr” Pearline growled softly. “I was mad at him before, but now I AM A VOLCANO!”
“Pearl, we have to pretend to be normal though,” Storm said, pausing” If we don’t, who knows what he will do”
“We need to free Galaxy, too.” Pearl said with sudden urgency.
“I know, lets just take one step at a time though, we need to be cautious. He wont do anything if he soesnt feel threatened.”
“I know…” Pearl said, “But I won’t feel good with Galaxy still under his control.” Pearl suddenly blushed.
Opal poked her head out. “Ohhh, hiiiiii!”
Pearl blinked. “Hi,” Pearl said softly, “Who’re you?”
“I’m new. Name’s Opal.” Light reflected of off her necklace.
“Pearl’s mine.” Pearl said quickly, glancing at Storm.
Opal went back into her room.
“She has a necklace on!” Pearl hissed quietly.
“I know, she was the one who got captured with me.” Storm whispered
“Oh.” Pearl was suspiciously still blushing from before Opal popped her head out of her room.
Storm glared at Pearl as if to say really.
“Whatttttttttttttt?” Pearl said.
“Nothing, just when!?” Storm asked
“Oh, we started dating, I don’t know, three years ago. I…” Pearl said.
“Ok, so like, right after I left!” Storm said, really just sad that they never kept in touch.
It seemed as if Pearl could tell her face and she said, “Remember, we didn’t remember you.”
“I knowww, I wish we could’ve left together tho”
“But, I…I would’t have been able to anyway…” There was something Pearl wasn’t saying.
“Why? Did something happen?”
“I may or may not have a child now.”
“What the-“ Storm said as a child stumbled in
“MOMMY!!!” The tiny dragonet said, climbing onto her wings.
“Hello, Midnight. Could you please not climb on my wings, little one?” Pearl said.
“Srwy, mommy.” The dragonet got off of Pearl’s wings.
“Uhhh, Hi. I’m storm” Storm said as she held out a talons, then immediately regretted it because the child had something on its talons.
“Little one, be careful where you point that when you use it!” Pearl warned.
Midnight’s poison stingers went back in and said, “Sorry mommy.”
And then the tiny dragonet had somehow found a way onto Storms head.
“uH, what are you doing” Storm said, honestly a little scared. Children are crazy.
But this one laid down on her head and promptly went to sleep.
Pearl’s shoulders were shaking with laughter, saying, “She does that to some dragons. Only her favorite dragons.”
“Can you get it off me” Storm said.
“She has a name! And she’ll wake up; she barely sleeps at all!”
Storm was about to protest when the child started snoring, VERY loudly.
Galaxy came in. “Wow. She found a spot on them? AND she’s sleeping for the first time in HOURS.”
Pearl said, “Yep.”
The two of them watched Midnight silently.
Well, storm tried to at least, she could only see the wing that the child put over her face.
Pearl sighed, picked up Midnight, saying, “I need to give her a bath anyways.” Pearl wandered off towards the bathrooms.
That just left Storm and Galaxy.
“So, “ Galaxy said, “What’s your name?”
“Names Storm, gal- I mean what’s yours , heh heh”
“Galaxy, how’d ya know?”
“Uhh a great guess? I MEAN, Pearl told me!” Storm said awkwardly
“You’re sounding suspicious…” the earing made a blinding flash as firelight reflected off of it.
“Heh, sorry I get that sometimes? Oh, hey I love your earing!”
“Really? Pearl gave it to me awhile back.” Galaxy said.
“Oh, yeah, I noticed she had one too. Can I have a closer look at it? It looks super cool!” Storm asked
“I mean, I guess?” Galaxy handed it to her. AND THIS TIME HE DROPPED IT.
Storm quickly picked it up and threw it in a torch.
“Ummmmmmmmm, hey storm”
“Yeeeahhhh?”
“I think I remember you now.”
“That’s gooddd, so uh, whats up?”
“Uhhhhhh not actually sureeeeee at the momentttt….”
“Yeah, understandable, that’s what happens when you get brain washed.”
“WAIT WHAT” Galaxy roared suddenly.
“OH MY G- UGH shut UP! We don’t want to get caught!” Strorm said
“We just need to pretend, ok?”
“PRETEND ABOUT WHAT” big boss roared behind them.
DUN-DUN-DUUUUUUUUUNNNNNNNNN!
“Uh, just to pretend, that we weren’t throwing a surprise party!! For all your amazing work!!! Heh, heh,”
“Don’t play tricks young storm. Come with me.”
“Um, no?” Storm said nervously
“NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” He roared.
“OK! Not because you asked me though,because I wanted to.” Storm followed the boss in reluctantly.
“So, how on the three moons did the necklace not work?!” The boss wondered to himself.
“Stay here.” He said.
He walked out and closed the door behind him.
Nearly an hour later, there were shouts.
“What are you doing?!”
The boss came in, with the little dragonet, Midnight, in tow.
“Midnight? What did you do?” Storm said, scared
“Oh, she didn’t do a thing. Pearl and Galaxy thought they could keep her hidden from me, and now they will be punished by Midnight being my captive.” The Boss said.
