excuse you? (Thor x Darcy)
Thor wasn't always the sharpest tool in the shed, It was a known fact that he wasn't upto date on the midgardian way of living as of yet.
But he did know when a man was attracted to a woman.
And in most cases he either wouldn't care, or he would be happy for the two.
But in this case he was not happy, not happy at all.
He believed that the relationship between he and darcy was fairly obvious enough for most to respect,( tho they hadn't technically verbalised it.)
So when he saw James Barnes blatantly stare at her breasts with no absolutely no shame, and much intent. He was quite annoyed, but Darcy told him that it was nothig,And that he shouldn't worry about it.
He didn't.
The flirty comments and innuendos could be tolerated, considering she and Clint shared this sort of banter frequently, and he new for a fact Barton and Romanof were in a relationship.
So he shrugged it off.
But the touching irked him.
The way he would 'accidentally' brush against her in the kitchen.
How his hand would stray slightly low when she did her round of hugging the team.
Or when he smacked her ass when she rushed past him to go find banner.
Darcy convinced him it would be bad to have 'words' with him, since he was still not in the best psychological state.
So he let it slide, ouce again.
But the final straw was when he came back to the avengers tower, sore,tired, hungry( and horny.) and He saw James backing Darcy into a corner, lust in his eyes.
His temper flared and he grabbed barnes by the throat pressing him high up on the wall.
"What is it do you think your doing with my girlfriend?"He snaps his blue eyes glaring darkly into James'
"Girlfriend? Darcy?" James asks dumbfound.
"Yes, Is that not what you people of midgard call your partners?"He hisses, choking him harder.
"Thor! let him down!"Darcy pleads.
"I saw the look he was giving you Darcy, i ignored all the other signs for your sake, but i shan't look away now."Thor barks and notices Darcy flinch at his tone and he sighs letting james down.
James raises his hand in defences and chuckles slightly.
"Okay, im sorry for trying to flirt with Dar, but honestly, i never would have pegged you as a couple."He says shrugging and Thor frowns.
"You think i lack affection for my darcy!? What would you have me do? Mount her in the common room?"He growls, obviously offended by james' words.
"Uh..ew, no i didn't mean offence i swear."James says apologetically.
"Maybe you should just go Buck. "Darcy sighs and he nods looking between them before shaking his head and leaving.
"Seriously, 'mount me in the common room'?"Darcy giggles tippy toeing to wrap her arms around his shoulders.
"Im sorry, im tired and he angered me."Thor pouts hugging her back and burring his head in the crook of her neck.
"I know, but you know i would have tazed him before anything happened, right?"she asks leaning back to smile at him.
"You have electrocuted many for far less."He smirks before pressing his lips to hers in a chaste kiss.
"You know i love you right?"she asks tucking some of his hair behind his ear.
"I know no such thing."He smirks cheekily, lifting her up bridal style.
"But never fear my lovely maiden.You have all weekend to show me."He vows carrying her away.
