For the past few hours, the OCS had been in a meeting without an end; Beatrice and Lilith had been fighting the whole time, while Mother Superior, Camila and Yasmine had been actually trying to make progress, occasionally hearing a comment or two from Mary, who at first had tried to make Beatrice and Lilith stay calm, but after two hours of the same, she gave up. Meanwhile, Ava was playing a game on Camila's phone since she almost hit Lilith after she said something that made Ava mad. But she finally had enough of Lilith and Beatrice's argument.
"Holy fucking shit!" she yelled, getting up and slamming the table with her hands. Mother Superior and Beatrice were the ones to react, both yelling at the same time, "Ava! Language!", but the Halo bearer didn't listen to them. "Fuck that, Lilith has been a bitch the whole time without actually doing something" before she could continue, Lilith had interrupted her, "What are you going to do about it?", said the Demon girl, now also standing up.
Camila and Yasmine just looked at each other, Mother Superior was taking deep breathes and Beatrice was bouncing her leg up an down, she had started to feel bad, the lights and noise were becoming too much for her. It was like every little noise was way too loud, and the texture of the chair and her shirt were becoming uncomfortable, she didn't know how much more time she could handle all of that. Meanwhile, Ava and Lilith stared at each other, Lilith had that 'superior' look in her eyes, and Ava had eyes full of anger; they walked to each other until they were inches apart.
"I'm gonna beat the shit out of you if you keep being a bitch" said the shorter girl, a gold light glowing in her back while she stared at the girl in front of her; before any of them could touch the other one, Mother Superior got between them, looking at both of them seriously. "Both of you, sit down now, this is not the time for you to act like children" said the older woman, gesturing them to sit, which they did, both annoyed; Camila turned her eyes to Beatrice, being able to tell something was wrong with her, she quietly got up and sat next to Beatrice, looking at her concerned, she gently put her hand on the taller girl's shoulder, causing Beatrice to jump and get away from Camila. Before the short haired girl could ask what was wrong, Beatrice quickly got up and walked to the door, leaving the room; Ava, who was about to sit down noticed her girlfriend leaving the room, she looked at Mother Superior, who nodded to her, and then the Halo bearer left the room quickly.
Beatrice had gone to a bedroom that wasn't occupied, she sat down on the bed and tried her best to breathe while tears rolled down her cheek, Ava found her not too long after that; she sat next to her lover and tried to wipe Beatrice's tears with her thumb, which the other girl didn't want, pulling away from her. "Bea? What's wrong?" she asked, but Beatrice couldn't speak properly, so she just shook her head; Ava stared at her, noticing how the other girl was grabbing her shirt, as if she wanted to take it off. "Love, do you want to take it off?" said the short girl with a soft tone, Beatrice stood quiet for a moment before slowly nodding, Ava moved her hands to Beatrice's shirt and took it off gently, seeing how Beatrice took a deep breathe after that, getting a little calmer.
Ava sat behind her girlfriend and made a bun so she wouldn't feel her hair on her back, after she was done, she sat next to Beatrice again and smiled at her softly; "Is there something else you wanna take off?" she asked, to which Beatrice answered yes in a low tone, looking at her shoes; without saying anything, Ava sat on the floor and took off her lover's shoes, asking if she also wanted her socks off, to which Beatrice said yes once again. Once Beatrice was barefoot and without shirt, she seemed to relax almost completely, which made her partner smile happily, "Do you wanna lay down and cuddle?" questioned Ava, Beatrice kept breathing deeply before looking at her, "Not yet" she answered, to which the short girl nodded, they would sit as long as Beatrice needed to.
After five minutes or so, Beatrice seemed better, and she was now accepting physical touch, allowing Ava to softly rub her cheek with her thumb; once Beatrice was ready, they both lied on bed; the Halo bearer kept her arms open, Beatrice stared at her and softly grabbed Ava's shirt, "Need me to take it off?" she asked nervously, to which the taller girl nodded, she doubted just for a moment before taking it off. Now, both of them were shirtless, Ava lied down on bed and once again opened her arms, this time, her lover joined her, resting her head on the short's girl chest. Ava held one of her partner's hand, and with her free hand she undo her girlfriend's bun before she began rubbing her back gently; the skin-to-skin contact seemed to really help the tall girl, who was now fully calm, which made Ava smile and kiss her forehead lovingly. "I love you boo boo" said the Halo bearer, "I love you too darlin" answered the Nun.
Beatrice fell asleep not too long after that, and Ava switched between rubbing her back and stroking her hair with her free hand, never letting go of her lover's hand.
Bea smiled even after falling asleep.
