Enjoying the peaceful time we have with each other

The meadow was a sight to behold this spring. The colors of the flowers harmonized instead of crashing into each other. The view was amazing. It looked... perfect... Too perfect.

"I HATE THIS MEADOW!" Fanny yelled.

It was all too perfect. No flaws in sight. There has to be flaws. Fanny looked and Bubble and saw that she was sad.

"TOO PERFECT. I HATE IT." Fanny said, trying to get the message across on why she hated the meadow so much. She had to admit, it was beautiful, but it had to have flaws of some sort. Maybe there was, and she just had to look deeper for them.

"Oih, Oi see." Bubble said, happier and understood why Fanny hated it. She could see her point. Something too perfect could be hated by some objects, and Fanny was one of them.

Despite their different views of the meadow, that didn't stop them from enjoying the time they had with each other.

Bubble stood up and walked towards the meadow. After that, maybe then they could eat.

She admired the flowers. They were so beautiful. (Just like Fanny.) Bubble thought. She realized what she just thought and shook her head, trying to shake off the thoughts.

Bubble ran around the meadow now, enjoying the soft breeze, just enough to not blow her away.

Fanny watched at their picnic place, just by the edge of the forest. Watching Bubble enjoy the meadow, it made her happy herself. Bubble meant a lot to her, so seeing her so happy like this, without a care in the world, made her just as happy as she was.

"I hate that meadow even more now," Fanny said, being angry that meadow made her so happy, maybe happier than Fanny can make her. But well, the point was Bubble was happy, and that was all that really mattered at the moment.

Unfortunately, the time Bubble had in the meadow had to come to an end. Well not exactly, just a break to go eat. She reached into the picnic basket and was surprised to find something she didn't remember packing in there.

She gasped happily. "Yoylecake!" Bubble said. She turned to Fanny. Since she didn't put it in there, the only other person could be happy.

Fanny seemed to catch up on that. "Yeah, I thought you would enjoy some yoylecake here." Fanny said, before unexpectedly getting a kiss on the cheek. Her face turned red. She had a hard time talking, stumbling through her words, and being seemingly flustered.

Bubble giggled and said, "Thank yoiu, Fanny! I really apprecoiate oit!" That giggle. It was music to Fanny's ears. "You're-" She cleared her throat. "You're welcome."

Fanny was surprised that Bubble handed her a slice of the cake. That was supposed to be for Bubble, not her. She looked at Bubble and understood her intentions.

She wanted to enjoy the cake with her

Fanny accepted the slice of cake and ate it. She hated cake but, eating just a slice wouldn't hurt her.

The sun had started to set now. Watching the sun slowly sink into the horizon, the sight looked so much more beautiful now.

Fanny and Bubble sat beside each other, leaning into one another, and peacefully watched the sunset.

They enjoyed the time they had with each other, and both of them, despite not saying it, wished that the next time they would go on a picnic date just like this one would come soon.

Fanny hated dates though. She hated the picnic date. But the time she spent with Bubble, that's what she loved.

Bubble, on the other hand, enjoyed everything about this date. The flowers, the sunset, the view, the fun time she had with Fanny, and Fanny too. She loved everything in it.

They couldn't wait for the next one.
