Today is Jin enterance day.
All members and family are there to send him off with sadness and mix feeling. Everyone try so hard not to cry because they don’t want to make Jin feels sad to left them behind when he fulfill his duty as citizen.
Everyone but one in particular that can’t hide his tears. He dresses up all in his favourite color which is black and try so hard to cover up the evidence of his swollen eyes using his bucket hat and mask. Well is not working at all since everyone knows that Jungkook’s eyes are puffy.
Also it’s obvious judging from Jin’s eye bags he hasn’t slept well last night taking care his crying bunny who has been crying for 2 days now.
Jungkook always rush all his personal schedule nowadays just to return home to cuddle up with Jin. He has been done that since the announcement took place about Jin enterance schedule.
All day he will follow Jin around everywhere. He never let him out of his sight unless there are personal schedule that they have to attend to. If one of them is free then the others will accompany by keep staying inside the car until it’s done.
The members and managers including the company know about this. So they keep helping them to have align schedule for each other.
Jin is really grateful with all the love and support from everyone for his enlishment also for his relationship with Jungkook. The fans was so happy as well when they found out about it.
However he need to consider that is gonna be the first time for him and Jungkook to be separated for 18 months. They never been separate for this long before. He knows how hard that hit both of them to be away so long. That is the most painful thing for him at this moment. It’s obvious he worried about his bunny a lot.
Today’s ride feel so quick because without their notice their cars already entering the camp.
Along the way Jungkook just quietly sit next to Jin while holding his hands and not letting go at once. He just keep staring at them. Jin on the other hand is try so hard to be brave and strong for both of them in fact he need to this for all 7 of them.
“Baby, you need to listen to me one last time before we getting out of this car okay?”
Jungkook just nod without looking at Jin and keep staring at their intertwine hands.
“You need to always sleep well and eat well. Don’t forget to go to the gym and do the schedule like you normally do. At home don’t get drunk and do anything recklessly.”
“You know that I really love you more than anything in the whole world right?” at this moment Jungkook pull up his face to meet with Jin’s gaze.
Jungkook once again nod at Jin’s question.
“So you better hear me and hear me closely. Beside what I said earlier I want your help to always be there for my parents as well as your parents. Help my brother at the restaurant if he need it or help them become the babysitter so they can rest once in a while.”
Again Jungkook not saying anything but this time he just squeeze Jin’s hand as an agreement.
“Don’t get sick okay Kookie? Promise me?”
This time Jungkook glance at Jin and his eyes are tearing up. Jin is devastating to see Jungkook crying like that he pulls him into his embrace.
“Please don’t cry Kookie. I will be back soon.”
“But when you return then I won’t be around. We not going to see each other until 2025 which is too long. Why can I just enlist together with you. I can protect you there and follow you around.”
“You know there is procedure that we need to follow so we can’t decide on our own as well Kookie. Please think about the fans if we all enlist together also the other members and our families. You need to help me to take care of them when I am not around and I will to the same when you are not around.”
“Also you can do everything that you always want to do for your personal time now.”
“I want to be with you that’s all I want it.”
“Come on Kookie. Don’t be like this. It breaks my heart seeing you like this.”
“Good then you can cancel the entering for now and we can enlist later together.”
“Come on we already set everything for today. I thought we have an agreement before. Why you making it hard for everyone now.”
“Because is hard to see your love one go and not seeing him for long time.”
“Come on I will be back for the holiday and I can call you. All you have to do just pick up your phone.”
“I always pick up my phone.”
Jin smiles at his big baby who is now annoyed, sad and cranky at the same time.
“You only pick up my call but never pick up when someone called you baby.”
“Because I don’t need the others. When they miss me they can come and knock on my door unlike you always play with your game “
“I want you to pick up your phone from now on. I told my family to keep checking up on you. My mom already said it that she will always look after you like she did to me all this time. So you better pick up the phone.”
“Are you okay with my arrangement? Otherwise I will march to the big boss and demand that you come with me to enlist and let’s not care about other people’s feeling and about ARMY.”
“No don’t do that Hyungie. I promise you I will take good care of myself and will always pick up phone. Thank you to your mom for want it to look after me too.”
“Mom always loves you Kookie. She is sad that I am enlist now but she feels relieve you always around. So you better look after our mom as well okay?”
“I will Hyungie. I will come by to your home and look after Mom and your family as well.”
“Thank you Kookie. My Dad also always worried about you since your parents are in Busan while you here left alone. Thank God your brother is not far away from you. So he can look after you as well.”
Jungkook just keep nod in tears because He still can’t believe that he need to say good bye for now and will meet Jin again in years.
Seeing Jungkook keep looking sad like that make Jin remiscing about the day before he enlist.
A month before entering
“Jinie, Your enlistment entering will be around 1 month from now. Jungkook only have one schedule to go perform for the world cup while you have to promote your new song. The rest of the schedule will be none since we are trying our best to make sure you guys can spend time together. I mean beside shooting for BTS schedule. For that you guys will be always together so nothing to be worried for that.” Sejin let out all their schedule.
“Thanks Hyung. Really appreciate you guys always support me and Jungkook.”
“It should be us that said thank you - You always help us by taking care the maknaes and took special care on Jungkook. In the past Taehyung and Jungkook only listen to you. We are overwhelm because all maknae are so active especially Jungkook.”
Sejin hyung take a pause when talking about Jungkook since he reminiscing the past, “He was so young and need special attention when all of us are too busy with the schedule and everything. Our company wasn’t as big as now with lots of hands on deck. If it’s not you who help us to look after them then we all going to be running around and not sure the group can be debut at all.”
Jin smiles at Sejin who is keep shaking his hand.
“Come on Hyung. You and the team are always there for us through all good and bad. You guys support and help us when nobody want to.”
“We all done our part but mostly we all work hard together right Jinie?”
“Yes Hyung.”
“Please do take good care of yourself when you enlist. Don’t worried about Jungkook and the others will make sure they been taken good care of. They all grown up and live alone now but sometimes they still like a kid. Leave it all to us. Will make sure everyone is healthy and safe. You just enjoy the rest of the days with Jungkook before leaving.”
Jin really like Sejin a lot eventhough he hardly travelling with them on tour now since he has been promoted to be the head of all artist manager at HYBE but still he always help whenever everyone need his advice or assist especially for BTS.
For Sejin – BTS is not just as group but they are is part of his family – his younger brothers. So he always took special care for them even when they are on tour. He will immediately leave all behind just to be with them whenever he heard someone in distress or have medical issue or even something not go as plan and now everything is being decide. He can’t help feeling sad to say good bye to his brother soon for enlistment later. It’s hard for him since all of them will enlist soon after Jin as well.
He feels like loosing all 7 brothers at the same time. Mostly he worried about Jungkook because he knows how closed he is with Jin. Jin will depart soon and it will be hard on Jungkook later.
D DAY
The day after Jin left to enlist - Jungkook comes home with sadness on his face. He has been crying for almost 2 days now.
He pretty sure that he can go through 18 months without his beloved Hyung but somehow now he feels so empty.
Everything was well planned before about his individuality schedule before his time to enlist. Although he knows Jin will be the first one he thought when he feels lonely. With pack schedule it won’t make him feel lost and lonely after Jin left.
It turns out he can’t even bare to pass 1 day without his Jin hyung. The way he become so quiet and keep tearing up make others feel bad for him.
They all cry a lot when they saw Jin join the squad but later they try to gather up their feeling since they all going to get through the same thing. Those mind set make them want to finish all their working schedule immediately so they can join and be release back to the group in a flash.
Somehow it’s not working for Jungkook.
Jungkook has been busy but not for his own schedule but by spending every last minute with Jin instead of working on his schedule before. He has no desire to work on this personal schedule instead clinging on Jin which for Jin is really fine for him. He loves to be around his beloved maknae all the time. He doesn’t know there is a reason for that action.
Now Jin is already entering. Jungkook just sit in his living room and not move an inch. No words coming out of his mouth nor he do anything else. It makings his big brother worried sick seeing his little brother like that. Their parents as well. They all specially coming from Busan last night to spend time with Jungkook and others before Jin enlist. Also they all know how bad Jungkook will feel after Jin’s left.
Jungkook’s mom phone ringing - she picks up without hesitation while left the room to get more privacy.
“Hello, Jin’s mom.”
“Hello, Jungkook’s mom. How is JK doing?”
“Heart broken. He just sit in his living room doing nothing but blank staring out of nowhere.”
“Omo … This is not good. We miss our Jin a lot too but I know they both really close so all of us are worried about him.”
“We also worried that is why we plan to stay for a whole week here with him but he didn’t response back to us since we got back. What should I do?”
“Jungkook’s mom, I am coming to see JK’s now. I can’t stay at home and keep worrying. I’ll be there soon.”
“Thank you.”
They both hands up at the same time. Jungkook’s mom return back to the living room to see the same thing has they all have been experience since they got home.
“Hubby, No movement.”
“No he just stay there as before. This view is making me want to cry. I can’t stand to see this. Why they not allowing him to enlist together with Jinie so this kind of view will not happening.”
“Come on Hubby. You know is not company decision but their existence is impact to our country economy and the company as well. Actually is up to Jungkookie if he want to be release and join the Army on his own. No one can decide this for him.”
“Yes but he so sure that he can survive without Jinie. He shows us all his personal plan before enlist with excitement. What’s change?”
“Feeling.”
“Yes how come is change all I can see everything still the same as is.”
“He feels empty because he can’t see Jinie now. That feeling that I am talking about.”
“I see.” Jungkook’s dad can’t feel ease seeing his beloved youngest soon just sat there and keep remind like that for a while now.
Someone ring the door bell. Jungkook’s hyung immediately go to open the door. He has been sit by Jungkook’s side to accompany him.
“Junghyung a… Who is it?” asked Jungkook’s dad while approaching to the front door.
“Jungkook’s dad is me Jin’s mom.”
“Oh come in Jin’s mom. Are you here to look for my wife?”
“Yes but actually I want to see Jungkook. I know he is bit down after return.”
Jungkook’s dad just quietly nod while bring her in to the living room to see his son still no reaction from earlier.
“May I try to help?”
“Please do. We have tried but he won’t budge at all.”
Jungkook’s dad return to his wife side and keep staring at their son. His big brother also stood there confuse because his little brother is always so active seeing him like this it’s a bit odd.
“Jungkookie, How are you?” Jin’s mom sit next to Jungkook she held Jungkook’s hands gently.
Without anyone notice Jungkook just blink at the voice that calling him. It sounds familiar but is not coming from his family.
He turned around and found that Jin's mother was looking at him.
“Hi son. Why you look like this? Are you okay? You making everyone worried.”
“Jin’s mom when you come? I didn’t know you here.” Jungkook bring her hand closer to his.
“Baby, I just come because I am worried.”
“I am fine eomeoni. I am sorry to make you come all the way here to check on me while I should be the one to looking after you and abeoji because Jin Hyung not around.”
“Come on son. We should take care of each other that is what we should do. So don’t be sad about this okay. You are always welcome to our home when you miss Jinie. We will face this together.”
Jungkook feels ease but somehow his eyes are in tears again because seeing Jin’s mother make him realize that Jin is not around.
“Why you cry son?” Jin’s mom embrace Jungkook to comfort him.
“I miss him.”
“Oh my baby. He will be gone for 18 months and during that time he will come home to visit us on holiday so we going to see him soon. Don’t be sad.”
“It’s been more than 10 years that we together. I never apart from him and this time it takes 18 months. It’s really hard.”
“I know you will. Both you spend every day together in good time and bad time. Jinie is not easy to open up but somehow he gots close to you. He cares and love you so much more than everything. I know that because he is my son. I care and love you like my younger son as well Jungkookie. Don’t you forget about that.”
Jungkook knows that Jin’s mom means every words that she said because at earlier time before they debut there was a time that he feels difficult and he just want to go back home to his parents. If not because Jin takes him to his home and let him be part of his family then he won’t be here today. Jin’s parents always welcome and love him like their own kids. He loves them as well like his own family. Being with Jin’s mom now is very comforting for him.
“Eomeoni I love you so much as well. Thank you for helping all this time.”
Jungkook’s hug Jin’s mom and shed tears. It’s actually happy tears. He no longer feel sad with Jin’s mom and his family around.
While comforting Jungkook the door bel ring again and it turns out is Jimin along with Hobie.
“Jiminie Hobie you come.” Jungkook’s mom surprise to see them.
“Eomeoni we really sorry to bother you guys but we need to be with Jungkook now. We miss Jin Hyung too much it hurts. We knows Jungkook is really sad right now as well. We thought we can be each other comfort.”
“Omo not both of you too. Look at you guys both of your eyes are swollen you must have cry a lot earlier.”
Jimin and Hobie nods at the same time to Jungkook’s mom.
“Jin Hyung is always there for us. He always courage us and help us when we are down. He is the biggest part of our life and now he is not around. It’s confusing for us.”
Jungkook’s mom stare at her husband seeing the kids are so heartbroken make her realize why her son is like that as well.
“Come. Jinie’s mom is here with Jungkook. Let’s sit down and talk.”
Both are following Jungkook’s mom to the living room and when they saw Jin’s mom both of them immediately hug her and cry again.
“The bonds between them is really tight. They going to been through a lot soon honey. We as parent need to prepare ourselves soon.”
“You are right dear. Jin is the glue of this group and now that he is not here. It’s going to be tough for the next 18 months. They just finally adjusted to live on their own and now have to face this.”
Jungkook's parents felt they had to be a moral support for all their children. Not only Jungkook but all members. In BTS, not only the members are considered family but even their respective families are also part of the BTS extended family including their managers, bodyguards and staffs. They all now becoming big family.
“Honey, Let me go prepare some snacks and beverage for our guests. I do have feeling that somehow we going to have more guest soon.”
Jungkook’s dad smile at his wife and nod. “Let me help you dear.”
Junghyun just stood there and watching them in sorrow without much help. He is very closed to Jin as well and his enlist also bring sadness to him. But every man in Korea have to do this as their duty no matter what. Maybe for others seems unfair because BTS brings not only fame but also economic growth to the country. Also not to mention INTERNATIONAL or GLOBAL recognition that they have done and achieve.
It's painful to watch them sad like this because soon they also have to join Jin to do their duty as citizen.
It seems their door bells is working extra hard today because it keep ringing. Namjoon and Yoongi happen to come as well.
“Hi Hyungnim.”
“Hi Junghyun. Is Jungkook around?”
“He is in the living room with the others.”
“The others?” asked Namjoon.
“Hobie hyung and Jimin ssi are here as well.”
They nod while keep walking to the living room and greet Jungkook’s parent who is coming out from the kitchen when they heard the door bell.
Jungkook still sit with Jin’s mom along with Hobie and Jimin. All of them seem to being comfort by her. They all still kid after all.
“Hi Eomeoni.”
Jin’s mom smiles when look at Namjoon and Yoongi.
“Oh you guys come as well. Come take a seat. I think Taehyungie will join us soon as well if I am not mistaken.”
“Yes Eomeoni. He just called me when on the way here.” Jimin smiles at Jin’s mom who really know them so well.
“If Jin knows how much you guys miss them. He must be really sad yet thrilled because of the attention. Our Jinie is very shy since kid but actually he loves the attention.”
“You right Eomeoni. If we not paying attention to him then he will get upset although his ears will become tomato.” Jungkook finally can smile when reminiscing Jin’s odd behaviour.
“You knew him so well Jungkookie. It will break my heart when all of you go and leave us to become soldier soon. When Jinie enlist at least I still have 6 of you with me.”
“Oh come on Eomeoni. We not enlisting at the same time so we still have time with you.” Jimin tries to comfort Jin’s mom.
Jungkook’s mom join them and bring Taehyung with her. Apparently Taehyung also arrived at their home.
“I will come to Jin’s parents home often if you all enlist later. It will be too quiet to seeing all of you not around later.” Jungkook’s mom feel sad suddenly.
“Mom, We won’t enlist together at least some of us still there when you need us.” Jungkook’s hug his mom tightly.
“All of you really are amazing. I am so proud. You guys stand up for yourself and put your duty as first beyond others. I can’t be more proud.” Jungkook’s dad looking at each of them with proud eyes as a father.
Junghyun join his dad and stand beside him, “You are right Dad. Being soldier is not easy but I am sure everyone here can go through that since I done it earlier. You guys are much better than me since you guys always do hard trained every day. So please don’t worried about it since I know that you will done great like you always do in everything. I believe Jin Hyung is fine since he always do everything from his heart and always persistent. He will do really well there.”
"I do believe everyone there will love him like we all do because he is lovable and always do everything with determination. Let us pray that he always in his best condition because we all worried about his health since he hate cold."
Jungkook smiles seeing how his big brother knows a lot about Jin hyung like he did. Jungkook remember when back then he introduce his big brother to Jin Hyung. It was a bit memorable because the way his brother eyes was wide open seeing Jin Hyung for the very first time like he did.
His hyung said that Jin Hyung was the most beautiful handsome person that he ever met. He didn’t never meet anyone so beautiful until Jungkook bring him to meet Jin.
Later they got very close because they sometimes take holidays together. Both of the sibling really like Jin Hyung because he is caring, lovable and cheerful all the time. He is also very generous and very polite that is why both Jungkook’s parent love him as well.
Whenever they spend time at Busan – Jin and his parents will stay at Jungkook’s parents house.
“Now Jungkookie, you know that we all here so please don’t be sad further or you going to make our Jinie worried sick in there.” Jin’s mom try to make Jungkook feels better.
“I am much better now Eomeoni.” Jungkook loves everyone is so understanding around him. They all love each other and him so much.
The bell is ringing again.
“Who is that?” asked Jungkook’s mom.
Jungkook’s dad get up to the door and found familiar face at the door.
“Jungkook a… Look who looking for you?”
It turns out to be Bam. The trainer brough Bam’s home so Bam can spend time with Jungkook.
Seeing Bam making Jungkook feels happy. He feels like not so lonely now but he feels curious because he never contact the training center to bring Bam’s home.
“Hi Mr. Trainer. May I ask who ask you to bring Bam’s home?”
“Oh Jungkook ssi … Actually I got called from Jin yesterday. He asked my help to bring Bam’s home today to spend time with you he said. I said okay since both of you are the parents of Bam so I agreed to bring it.”
Jungkook smiles listen to the Trainer explanation. Now He really knows that Jin already arranging everything before he enlist in order not to make Jungkook feels lonely when Jin not around.
“Jungkook a… Jin always very fond of you and like you more since beginning. He knows you so well not to let you alone at home. That is why I think he prepare everything so he can feel ease as well when doing the Military training at the camp. So you need to get on your feet back and try to be feel ease while waiting for Jin Hyung. Don’t let him worried about you and the family when he doing this remarkable thing now.” said Namjoon showing his dimple to Jungkook while trying to comfort him.
“Thanks Namjoon Hyung. I understand that now. I will live my life as always and wait for Jin Hyung to return.”
“That’s great Jungkook a…” Hobie and Jimin approach to Jungkook and give him big hug to comfort him.
“We all sad but we need to live our life well in order not to let Jin Hyung worried. Will wait together until Jin Hyung to return back to us.” Hobie tries to put fighting spirit to Jungkook and everyone there.
Hobie knows everyone there are sad not only Jungkook but everyone in the house and also in the office as well. They all love Jin Hyung so much.
Jimin suddenly open up the door again and it turns out it is Suga and Taehyung come as well.
“Oh my God. All of you are here. You guys must be feeling bad as well today.” Said Jin’s Mom forgotten about how she miss her younger son as well seeing all the boys in front of her look no trouble like that.
“Hi Eomeoni.” Yoongi say greetings while Taehyung bows to Jin’s Mom.
“Come on sit with us and don’t mind about the courtesy now. We all feel the same way today. If Jin sees us he will feel trouble and sad at the same time.” She shows the couch and let them take a sit after greetings to Jungkook’s parents and Jungkook’s brother.
“Actually Bang PD nim is come with us as well. He is parking his car now. He saw us at the office and look bad after taking Jin Hyung to the camp. So he bring us here because he knows Jungkook will be not much better as well like us.” Taehyung stands to wait for Bang Pd nim.
“Oh my God everyone is here today because we all miss Jin. Now how we going to spend almost 2 years waiting for Jinie.” Jin’s mom feels down all of the sudden seeing familiar faces at the same time and yet they all sad about her son live in the camp now.
Suddenly they all heard a phone call coming from Jin’s mom pocket.
“Yeobo, I am in the front of door at Jungkookie’s home. I am worried about Jungkookie as well. Can you help to open up for me?”
She immediately gets up and saw her husband is talking with Bang PD nim and Taehyung who is waiting at the door.
“Yeobo, You here.”
“I guest we all think the same at this moment. Let’s be each other comfort now. Hope we can help Jungkookie as well. Bang PD also agreed with me.”
“Hi Bang Pd. How are you? Come in. Everyone is inside as well.”
They all surprise seeing so many people come to comfort each other about Jin’s being send to the Military camp earlier.
They all really love and care for each other especially for Jin and Jungkook.
Finally Jungkook doesn’t feel so lonely. He thinks he manage to past the day one with everyone here to comfort him and be with each other.
“If Jin is here. He will feel very happy seeing all his loved together in the same room.” Jungkook smiling while seeing everyone is talking and eating dinner together.
It turns out Jin’s brother and sister in laws later is joining them as well. They all have dinner together and left Jungkook’s home really late with hope day 2 will be much more better than the day Jin is going to the camp.
