Sunny was tired. Oh, so tired. After years & years of practice, it was the day of the recital. Something that him & Mari had worked on. Put their life & soul into. Yet, Sunny was still not good enough.
Not good enough at all.
Due to this, Mari had been lashing out at Sunny, saying things like:
"Why can't you do it right?!" He couldn't do anything right, not ever.
"I've tried so hard... Yet you're ruining it!" Sunny ruined everything, didn't he? After so much work..
Sunny couldn't handle this. So useless... He made his sister angry. Because he can't do anything good, can he?
The boy clenched his fist, holding in the acrimony. He.. Shouldn't. Not to Mari. She's not the problem, she's mastered her part.
It's him. Sunny's the one that messes it up. This is why he was yelled at. It's... Only adequate.

The music was perfect, minus a few mistakes from Sunny. It was always Sunny.
Claps filled the room. Of course, they would only be directed to Mari. Sunny didn't do anything right. He ruined the performance.
"Ah... We should put everything away, right Sunny?" She beamed, turning to him.
Was she... Proud? Did she not mind?
The violinist nodded, going over to the toybox in a seperate room to safekeep everything.
-
She came soon after.
"Sunny! Y-You.. You ruined everything! It- Everybody has talked about the notes that sounded offkey! It's all your fault! You- You shouldn't have done this with me! Even Kel would be better & he doesn't even like instruments much.."
It's all my fault. I ruined everything. I shouldn't have done it. Others would be better. It's all my fault. I ruined everything. I shouldn't have done it. Others would be better. It's all my fault. I ruined everything. I shouldn't have done it. Others would be better. It's all my fault. I ruined everything. I shouldn't have done it. Others would be better. It's all my fault. I ruined everything. I shouldn't have done it. Others wo-
Sunny had unconsciously put everything back alongside Mari.

Once Sunny was in his room, he saw the jump rope. Did the younger forget to put it away?
Oh well. It was so eye catching.
Some would say this is a useless jump rope. But, we can hang this dead bulb by it's head. It's useless anyways. It can't even produce light. The bulb is swiftly dying, so shall we end it's existence to their mind?
-
Mari was knocking on Sunny's room. In the house? No. The hospital. The previous day, Sunny had..
It was her fault. She shouldn't have said that. Any of it.
"Sunny! I'm so sorry.... I shouldn't've said that stuff. I was just in the wrong mindset &-" Mari was cut off.
"It's.. Okay. You- You didn't mean it." He was forgiving. Always. He shouldn't.. She's a monster.
"Thank you, Sunny!" The pianist dug her head into the sibling's shoulder.
Sunny wasn't forgiving her. He was tense the entire time. How could you.... Say those things? & expect to be forgiven in a click? Yet, he still hugged back despite his trust in her diminished.

He wasn't naive.
