Yen for a Heart
“Hey Deku, do you think I’m ugly?” Uraraka asked as they sat in his room doing a study session, Iida having left to go use the bathroom and they were sitting around bored waiting for his return.
“It’s not about looks, Uraraka.” Midoriya replied casually, closing his notebook as he turned to face her, holding his hand out as he pointed to her, “What’s valuable is on the inside…”
“Deku…” Uraraka blushed, slipping a piece of hair behind her ear.
“For example…” Midoriya continued, gesturing to the left side of his chest next as he smirked, “Someone’s heart…”
“Awww… stop it-”
“It can be purchased for more than a million yen, you know.” Midoriya’s grin quickly grew sinister, clenching his fist as if imagining the feel of someone’s beating heart in his hand and crushing it underneath his grip, therefore taking their life.
“Seriously, stop.” Uraraka warned, hearing the door click open, signaling Iida’s return.
She didn’t want their friend finding out about Midoriya’s side job.
