“Why are you doing this?” Iida asked, demanding to know why his best friend was putting himself through hell just so that they could smile, when he wasn’t even smiling himself. It didn’t make any sense, whatsoever, and he, along with the rest of their classmates, just had to know the reason.
“Same reason I do everything, Iida.” Midoriya sighed, already putting his razor-sharp mask and torn up hood back over his face, hiding his features as his voice distorted when he said, “To get somebody to like me.”
“I already like you, Midoriya- Is that not enough?!” Mineta cried out from Shoji’s shoulders, everyone in shock as they slowly turned to the small child, Midoriya even stunned as he lifted his hood up again.
Even Tokoyami had to take off his bird head to understand the bullfuckery they all just heard.
