Meet Txanatan
Txanatan - bright/brightness
"He's a good boy, he's still young needs someone to
quide him" jake says sternly as he tries to convince
his wife to take in the boy.
"I know ma jake, I don't know why you're trying to
convince me to take him in, I promised kalin'ixte that
I'd take him in if anything ever happened to her."
Neytiri said strongly.
"Then it's settled" he said as he embraced the
woman.
That's how it all started, how he ended up being a
sully kid. Neytiri would be the only one in the clan to
take him in. He would be eighteen in a few weeks, he
was old enough to be on his own. Neytiri thought the
opposite, your never to old to need parental
guidance.
Everything was new to the boy. Suddenly going from
being an only child to having 4 siblings, 5 if you
included spider but he was more like a stray cat then
sibling. Txanatan wasn’t ready for his new life, he wasn’t ready to let go of his parents.
His parents.

“THE WAR PARTY IS BACK!” A member of the clan had shouted out for all to hear.
“MOM!! DAD!! MOM!!!” Txan shouted out in search for his parents, he searched around frantically. Spotting the Olo'eyktan, jake, the young boy continues to search for his parents.
Tears begin to blur his vision, his heart drops as thoughts of his parents possibly being gone fill his head. Suddenly he feels arms wrap around him from behind.
“Txan! My baby why are you crying?” His mom questioned so softly. His father joined the embrace his mother and him temporarily held. Tears flowed from the boys eyes as the warmth of his parents bodies wrapped around him.
“I thought,, snff,, you were gone” he said through sobs and sniffles.
“It’s okay my son, we are not leaving anytime soon” his father hugged him tighter, reassuring the boy everything would be okay.

Txanatan wakes up expecting his parents to be there as well , they weren’t, it was just some sort of fucked up dream. He couldn’t help but be mad at his brain for making him remember such a memory after loosing his parents. Why did they have to go on that mission? He’d kill to get one last warm hug from them. Warm salty tears ran down his face, he just wanted his parents back.
———————————————————————————
“HEY TXAN! Can you take my flying?” Tuk asked him ever so cutely, it was almost impossible to say no to her.
“Let me ask your mom first” Tuk pouts at his statement, knowing her mother would most likely say no, she never let Tuk go on flights with her brothers when they ask, so why would she say yes now?
Txan grabs Tuk, placing her on his shoulders. “Wow! I can see everything!” Txan was taller then most boys his age, shit, he was even taller then the Olo'eyktan.
“Hey auntie” Txan greets Neytiri, the woman places a hand on the back of his head, slightly pulling him in.
“Hello Txan, hi Tuk” she smiles at the both of them.
“Can I take Tuk out on my ikran? She wants so go fly” he asks sheepishly, not wanting to let Tuk down if her mother says no, but also not wanting to get in trouble with neytiri.
“That’s alright, just be careful please” both Txan and tuk are shocked by neytiris response.
“HOW COME YOU ALWAYS SAY NO WHEN LO’AK ASKS?!” Tuk shouts out questioning her mother.
“Txan is older, he is more experienced with flying. Now you two better hurry up!” Tuk sighed at the response. It was true that Txan was older, and perhaps lo’ak could be quite irresponsible, but it’s no fair!
“Come on!! Lets go!!” She shouted dragging Txanatan by the hand.
———————————————————————————
The air flowing against him, he felt free. All bud troubles melted away. Just for a few moments he forgot about everything, his parents death, the sky people attacking the lands, loosing home tree. Everything was gone, he was free, happy.
Flying was one of the ways he’d clear his mind growing up, he was always so excited to get an ikran of his own after going on flights with his parents. He hoped to do the same with his future children. He wanted to go on flights with his parents and his kids, his heart sunk when he realized this would never happen.
“weeeeeee!” Txan snapped back into reality, the smile that formed across tuks face brought a smile to his own.
Maybe this wasn’t so bad, he did always want siblings after all. Eywa had a plan for him, he will find happiness again.
