Izana nearly let his face meet his desk when he sent the text. He hoped that he had correctly interpreted Akko’s words.
He had thought it was just a mere coincidence that a girl, with his past life’s younger sister’s name, looks, and personality had just shown up at the tattoo shop that one day. However it became less and less like a coincidence when he had started to notice the way Akko spoke.
It was like he was back in time, back to the day he had first met Shinichiro. At that moment he knew. Nothing was normal about Bakugou Akko, she was a reincarnate, just like him.
The next day was a weekend, so Akko spent it in her room, thinking about what she should say to Izana. Finally deciding on just winging it, she checked the time to see that it was 9am. Three hours before twelve.
Deciding then was the best time to get dressed, Akko changed out of her brother’s hoodie and sweatpants (he hadn’t noticed yet) and into something more like her style.
She wore a white tube top with short black shorts and a black bomber jacket. The jacket would hide her tattoos, but once she was away from home, she’d most likely remove her jacket and store it in the bag Izana kept on the back of his motorcycle.
She fixed her makeup which usually consisted of just eyeliner and mascara. Before she left her room she made sure to grab her phone and house keys- just in case no one was home- and made her way to the front door.
“Where are you going?” Akko was stopped by the sound of her mother’s voice coming from behind her.
“Out with friends.” She replied without missing a beat.
“Will there be boys?” Mitsuki replied instantly, crossing her arms.
“Why do you care?” Akko snapped back, a glower on her face.
“Because I am your mother and I don’t want you hanging out with boys, especially at your age.” Her mother replied, her tone firm. Akko’s glower hardened into a glare.
“It’s none of your damn business who I hang out with.” Akko scoffed before turning around and leaving the house.
She walked down the street, ignoring her mother’s attempts to call her back. Her annoyance practically seeped out into the air, causing anyone around her to back away.
The walk to the station felt longer than usual, but she knew it was just the Shinichiro in her that was telling her subconscious that what she said wasn’t right. Akko simply brushed it off, not exactly caring that much.
It was definitely a long two hours, but she was glad to see that she had arrived just on time as she saw Izana waiting for her on the platform. She silently walked over to him and the two held an awkward silence all the way to Izana’s motorcycle and as they drove off, until they reached what looked to be a shrine.
It was slightly overgrown, but Akko could easily tell where they were. Musashi Shrine, the former meeting place of the Tokyo Manji Gang. One of Akko’s favourite places back then.
Said dual-haired girl climbed off of Izana’s bike and walked towards the shrine. The white haired boy kept silent as he followed behind, letting Akko take in the area.
“This Shrine used to be an escape.” Akko spoke softly. Izana didn’t speak, he only watched her as she walked up the stairs. “When I got upset and let the house, Shin-nii always knew where to find me.” She continued.
“What is this about?” She asked, turning to Izana as she got straight to the point.
“I remember.” Izana started after a moment. “I remember a past me, one who only wanted power and revenge. One who only wanted family,” He paused and looked Akko in the eyes. “One who only wanted you.”
