Wolverine & Deadpool - “I think we need to talk.”
“I think we need to talk.” Logan said, taking the seat opposite Wade in the bar booth.
Wade looked up at him from his jigsaw puzzle, holding up a piece. “ Does this look like a cloud or a swan?” He turned it over. “Oh it’s a brick!” he said happily, returning to his puzzle.
Logan didn’t say anything as Wade ran the piece over the puzzle trying to figure out where it fit.
There was a silence, Wade humming under his breath. Finally Wade looked up.
“Is this the part where you hit me?”
Logan’s mouth twitched downward. “No.”
“Oh.” Wade said. “It seems like this is the part where you should be hitting me.”
“We need to talk.” Logan said again.
“You’re not hitting me,” Wade said distractedly. “This must be bad news.”
Logan was looking at him carefully. “Wade-”
“I don’t think I want to know,” Wade cut in. “This is the catalyst right? You acting nice, then we set out on some mission and it’s all very tragic and angsty. Angsty is so overdone Wolvie, so I’m not going to get involved. From now on, this guy is going solely fluff.”
