Captain America/Iron Man - "Hey, Have You Seen The..? Oh.”
"Hey, have you seen the..? Oh.”
"Don’t. Say. A. Word.”
Steve hesitated, then put on his Captain America voice. “What happened here?”
Tony glared up at him from a pile of ribbons. “Don’t act like you don’t know.”
Steve crouched next to him and tugged at the ribbons. “I really don’t,” he admitted, facade breaking.
Tony muttered something.
“Birthday?” Steve frowned. “It’s not my birthday till next week. Fourth of July? It’s kinda hard to forget.”
“Early birthday surprise.” Tony told him as Steve freed his hands. “Me, sprawled naked on our bed, wrapped in ribbons and a bow.”
“Instead of in a heap of ribbons all tied up,” Steve pointed out.
Tony glared at him again. “Not my fault those stupid Hollywood movies made it look so easy.”
“I quite like those movies,” Steve retorted as he freed him.
Tony sat up and wrapped his wrists. “I know you do. Which is why I’m such a great boyfriend.”
Steve leant over and kissed him. “The best,” he agreed, picking up a ribbon and slinging it over Tony’s shoulders. “So,” he continued in a deeper voice. “What was the next step?”
“Step?” Tony asked, eyes zeroed in on Steve’s lips.
“After I’d… unwrapped you.”
Tony’s eyes shot up to meet Steve’s. “It’s more of a show rather then tell thing Cap.” He stood up and offered him his hand. “If you don’t mind.”
