"We’re in the middle of a thunderstorm and you wanna stop and feel the rain?”
Danny turned his face back to Peter. “Enjoying the small moments-”
“Inner peace, yeah yeah,” Peter grumbled.
Danny smiled and wrapped an arm round Peter’s waist. “Besides I think it’s romantic.”
“Because you’ve been trained to ignore bucketloads of rain,” Peter retorted, though he was blushing.
Danny’s free hand ran through Peter’s hair. “Maybe you should clear your mind.”
Peter shifted in Danny’s grip. “Would be easier to do if my boyfriend wasn’t Kung-Fu staring at me.”
“That is not a thing,”Danny informed him. He pressed a kiss to Peter’s lips. “I seem to be doing alright.”
“Kung-Fu ninja,” Peter muttered.
Danny grinned and stepped away. “Fine. Let’s go home.”
Peter was reaching out before he’d even thought it through. “We could stay… a little longer,” he conceded.
Danny’s smile widened.
