Spider-Man/Deadpool - "We're In The Middle Of A Thunderstorm And You Wanna Stop And Feel The Rain?"
“We’re in the middle of a thunderstorm and you wanna stop and feel the rain?”
“I’m enjoying the little moments, Spidey!”
Peter groaned, trying to cover his head. “So wet,” he muttered.
“That’s what she said,” Wade grinned and wrapped an arm over Peter’s shoulders.
Peter groaned louder, but snuggled into his warmth. “With my luck I’ll get struck by lightening.”
“I’ll protect you,” Wade purred. “You know,” he said in a normal tone, ”you could just web home.”
Peter shook his head. “Too wet.”
“That’s what he-”
“Don’t!” he complained. “I’d slip,” he added in an explanatory tone.
Wade stopped walking and kissed him. “I’d catch you.”
Peter pushed him away playfully, but captured Wade’s hand. “I’ll take my chances on the ground.” He shivered, wishing not for the first time that he’d taken a thicker coat.
Wade paused again, reaching over to wipe some of Peter’s sopping hair from his face. He chuckled softly and shrugged off his hoodie, draping it over Peter’s shoulders. “You should take better care of yourself Peter. I can’t always be there to catch you.”
Peter opened his mouth, maybe to express surprise that Wade would bear himself to the world like that.
Wade tapped the side of his nose. “Low visibility.” He told him and walked ahead.
Peter pulled on the jacket quickly and raced to retake Wade’s hand.
Wade grinned. “Looking good Peter.”
