Luke Cage/Jessica Jones/Danny Rand - "Come Home With Me"
"Come home with me.”
Danny shook his head at Jessica. “I can’t.” He ran a hand through his hair. “I’m sorry, I screwed up, I should never have-”
“Luke’s not angry.”
“I kissed him,” Danny said, frustrated. “I wasn’t going to- I never wanted to- I shouldn’t have done it. He’s with you.”
Jessica nodded. “He is. And I’m telling you it’s okay.”
Danny shook his head again. “I should’ve kept a grip on myself. I’ve done it for this long-”
“How long?” Jessica asked sharply.
Danny blinked at her. “Does it matter?”
“I swear Danny, if you’ve had feelings for Luke longer than today, I’m going to chuck something at you.”
Danny closed his eyes and fell into a meditative position on the floor. He took a deep breath.
Jessica cursed and threw herself down in front of him, grabbing his chin.
Danny opened his eyes.
“You’ve had feelings for Luke for ages, haven’t you?” She accused. “Why didn’t you say anything?”
“He’s happy with you.”
“He’s happy with us. You don’t think he wants more? But he’d never ask, because apparently he’s as thickheaded as you.”
Danny blinked.
“Come home with me,” Jessica said again.
Danny nodded dumbly and let Jessica lead him back.
