Spider-Man/Iron Fist - "I'll Be Right Over"

“I’ll be right over.”
That was what the text that Danny had sent Peter fifteen minutes ago.
Peter closed his eyes, hugging his legs to his chest on top of his bed.
“Knock knock,” Danny said softly as he opened the door and shut it behind him.
Peter gave him a smile. Danny had picked up a lot of habits from them all.
Danny sat on the bed next to Peter, not saying anything.
After a few seconds Peter shifted, resting his head on Danny’s shoulder.
Danny took Peter’s hand. He wasn’t sure what it was that was upsetting his boyfriend, but he was glad Peter had come to him. He kissed the top of Peter’s head and hummed to himself.
“Thanks,” Peter murmured.
Danny knew it wasn’t just the kiss he was thanking him for.
