Author's note!!
Okay, this is not a chapter, it’s like an author’s note because I’m halfway through writing Chapter 3 and I realized that I might need to explain a few things, specifically the timeline. The next chapter occurs a month after the last one and it takes place after Neteyam and Lo’ak fought Ao’nung and his friends.
Plus I want to give more in-depth answers to 2 of the questions I’ve gotten which are-
1.) Jake is paraplegic in this fic. Jake did get the spinal cord surgery, so he has the ability to walk, but only for a limited amount of time with arms canes. He can walk for an hour without any breaks and an hour and thirty minutes with breaks.
2.) Spider is homeschooled because he has dyscalculia and dyslexia, which greatly affects his level of education in math and reading, so it’s just easier to homeschool him. Norm does zoom classes with him for the most part, but Neytiri is also there if he needs any extra help with his lessons.
I also wanted to say that I changed a few details from the information I added in the end notes of the first chapter. Ao’nung and Tsireya aren’t twins anymore, Tsireya is 14 and Ao’nung is 15.
