The Architects Realisation (Aurum x Thanos)
Thanos sat in his workshop, his wheelchair positioned in front of his workbench as he looked over the blueprints and schematics for his latest invention. The steady hum of machines filled the air, providing a comforting background noise to his thoughts. He smiled to himself as he considered all the years he had spent as an architect for The Sexy Brutale Casino. He had designed some of the most incredible and intricate machines that could be found within its walls.
As he looked around the room, his gaze landed on the machines Aurum had helped him create. He felt a warm sensation in his chest as he thought about the time they had spent together, working tirelessly to bring his visions to life. He admired the way Aurum approached challenges with a sense of fearlessness and creativity, and how they always seemed to be on the same wavelength.
Suddenly, a thought popped into Thanos's mind, one that he had never considered before. As he thought about Aurum and their close working relationship, he realised that he might have a crush on them. He was surprised by the revelation but couldn't ignore the butterflies that had taken up residence in his stomach.
Thanos's mind raced as he tried to process his feelings. He had never felt this way about anyone before, and he wasn't sure what to do with this new information. He knew that Aurum was a talented blacksmith who had a knack for inventing machines, and he respected their skills and admired their work. But now he was starting to see Aurum in a new light, one that made his heart race and his palms sweat.
Thanos's thoughts were interrupted by a soft knock on the door. He wheeled himself over to the entrance, his heart racing as he wondered if it might be Aurum. To his surprise, it was. Aurum stood there, a smile on their face, and Thanos couldn't help but feel his cheeks flush.
"Hey, Thanos. I was just passing by and I thought I'd come say hello." Aurum said, looking down at the plans spread across the workbench.
"Hey, Aurum. It's great to see you." Thanos said, his heart thumping in his chest. He tried to focus on the blueprints in front of him, but he couldn't help but feel a little nervous.
Aurum noticed the change in Thanos's demeanour and cocked their head to one side. "Is everything okay, Thanos? You seem a little distracted."
Thanos took a deep breath and decided to take a chance. "Aurum, there's something I wanted to tell you. I...I think I might have a crush on you."
Aurum's eyes widened in surprise, and they looked at Thanos with a mix of confusion and delight. "Really? You have a crush on me?"
Thanos nodded, feeling a sense of relief wash over him. "Yes. I know it's unexpected, but I couldn't help but notice how much I enjoy working with you, and how much I value our friendship. And...well, I realised that I might have feelings for you that go beyond just friendship."
Aurum grinned, and Thanos could see a blush spreading across their cheeks. "Thanos, I don't know what to say. I had no idea that you felt that way about me, but I have to admit, I've always enjoyed working with you too. I think you're incredibly talented and creative, and I've always admired your work."
Thanos felt a surge of happiness at Aurum's response, and he smiled back at them. "Really? You mean that?"
Aurum nodded. "Yes, Thanos. I do. And...I have to admit, I've always found you incredibly attractive, both as a person and as an inventor."
Thanos felt his heart skip a beat at Aurum's words. He had never thought of himself as attractive, but hearing it from someone he cared about so deeply made him feel a surge of confidence. "Thank you, Aurum. That means a lot to me."
Aurum reached out and gently took Thanos' hand, their fingers interlacing. "I don't want to rush things, Thanos, but I would love to explore where our feelings might lead us. Would you be open to that?"
Thanos felt his face flush with excitement and nerves at Aurum's suggestion. He wasn’t sure how confessing would go, but he had never dared to hope that his feelings might be reciprocated. "Yes, Aurum. I would like that very much."
Aurum smiled warmly and leaned in to press a gentle kiss to Thanos' cheek. "I'm glad to hear that. I think we could be good for each other, Thanos. And who knows, we might even make some incredible inventions together."
Thanos grinned, feeling a sense of excitement and possibility bubble up inside of him. He knew that pursuing a romantic relationship with Aurum would be a new and challenging experience, but he also knew that it was a risk he was willing to take.
As they sat together in Thanos' workshop, surrounded by the machines and inventions they had created together, Thanos and Aurum knew that they were embarking on a new chapter of their lives. And they couldn't wait to see where it would take them.
