Trapped in Time (Lucas Bondes Angst)
Lucas Bondes had been trapped in the time loop of The Sexy Brutale for what felt like an eternity. Every day, he woke up in the same place and the same time, watching as his friends were murdered in front of him. Every day, he tried to save them, but every day, he failed.
He had lost count of how many times he had watched the same events unfold, how many times he had seen Willow Blue suffocate in the belltower, or Redd Rockridge get electrocuted in the show. He had seen Reginald Sixpence shot in the chapel, and Lafcadio Boone subsequently following Reginald. And every time, he had to watch as the clock struck midnight and the day started all over again.
Lucas had tried everything to break the cycle. He had followed the clues, he had uncovered the secrets, but nothing worked. He was trapped in this twisted world, with no way out.
As the days turned into weeks, and the weeks turned into months, Lucas began to lose hope. He became distant, numb, and detached from the people around him. He couldn't bear to see them die again and again, and he couldn't bear the guilt of not being able to save them.
And so, one day, Lucas made a decision. He would end it all. He would break the cycle, even if it meant sacrificing himself.
On the final day, Lucas went to the top floor of The Sexy Brutale. He looked out of the glass window and saw the darkness of the night. He closed his eyes, took a deep breath, and jumped.
He fell through the air, the wind rushing past his face, and he felt a sense of peace he hadn't felt in a long time. He knew that this was it, that he had finally broken the cycle. As he hit the ground, his body shattered into a million pieces, and the time loop was finally broken.
In the end, Lucas had found a way to be brave, to make a choice, and to break free from the endless cycle of death and despair. He had found a way to escape The Sexy Brutale, even if it meant sacrificing himself. And in that final act of bravery, Lucas had finally found the peace that he had been searching for all along.
