Marineford (3)
Law was FURIOUS.
He couldn't believe what Sengoku was doing.
It was disappointing.
Right now he was using all of his self-control to not yell at him right in the face that he's a shitty person and a shitty Marine.
The only thing that kept him sane is that he had to go undetected to get to Rosinante and Ace to get them out of this place.
From afar he could hear Natsu's angry scream and the curses from everyone launches against Sengoku.
Law was 100% sure that Sengoku's blood will spill once they reach the platform.
And he'll be sure to enjoy it with a bucket of popcorn is the front row.
He accidentally bumped into a woman he immediately recognized as Smoker the White Hunter.
-Are you Trafalgar Law, Fire Fist's boyfriend?- she asked, covering the place with smoke.
-......-
-If you are Trafalgar then I will give you these keys.- she takes some keys from her pocket.- I stole it before coming to Marineford. Take it and save them.-
-Why are you helping us, White Hunter-ya?-
-I... I just thought it's not fair...- Smoker pursed her lips and looked away.- Sabo told me many of his adventures with Fire Fist... I... I think what she did it wasn't serious enough to be executed... Who her father is shouldn't be a reason to die. Besides, I know Rosinante. We were partners when he was a Marine and I know he must have a good reason for the decision he made years ago to betray the Marines... I don't want to stand by and watch my old friend and such a young girl get executed.-
-...... Thank you. We owe you one.- Law said, taking the keys and teleporting away from this place to avoid problems for Smoker.
Smoker sighed before looking down at her hands.
She doesn't regret her decision. She knows she's doing the right thing and she's not going to regret.
She recalled the moments that she had with Sabo since the first time they met in Arabasta. His voice, his smile, his look full of love...
Smoker clenched her fists and charged against an enemy.
If only they weren't enemies... Maybe... Maybe they could be together and start a family.
A family where they would be happy and not have to worry about what others will say. She is not able to abandon that duty that she had as a Marine and he is not able to abandon his loved ones who were criminals.
If only they weren't enemies...
At least this time she will forget her duty and try to save Ace and Rosinante.
She doesn't want to see how broken Sabo would be if they died... She'll be selfish... Even if it's just this once.

Whitebeard took a long time to process the information.
He had known for years that Sir Crocodile was none other than his beloved daughter, who left Moby Dick one day full of anger and resentment towards him.
She had a son and never told him... To some extent he knows he deserved it.
He walked out of her life the moment he hurt her.
He was always a good father to everyone... Everyone except her.
He never managed to understand why his daughter didn't want to be called "daughter" or why she hated the name her mother gave.
He never listened when she told him that Teach was dangerous and that one day he would betray him.
He never thought that she... She would leave Moby Dick with nothing but a small ship.
It's been almost three decades since she left.
She left with a broken heart.
It all happened so fast that he couldn't even fully process what had happened between them.
It all started with a discussion. An discussion where she always left angry and he stayed drinking booze to try to calm down.
That day the discussion started like any other. As time passed, the discussion escalated more and more.
He, in a fit of anger, forgot that he had Murakumogiri in his hand.
When the blood of his beloved daughter was shed, he finally realized what had just happened.
His daughter, his little Crow, lay sitting on the ground with a severed hand and blood running down her face.
She cried out in pain as she hugged her severed hand.
He didn't know what to do...
He had hurt his daughter...
He. Hurt. Crow.
His hands trembled and his vision turned cloudy. He tried to get closer to her, but she just yelled at him to stay away from her.
He couldn't move, seeing the hate radiating from her eyes that looked so much like her mother.
She got up and left. When he was finally able to go back to Moby Dick to try and apologize to her and see if she was okay, she was gone...
The infirmary was full of bandages scattered on the floor and used threads. Her blood sent one of the gurneys where he assumed she sat to heal.
Her belongings were still intact in her room and only a small ship disappeared.
She left... Never to return.
He regrets it.
He regrets having hurt his only daughter. He regrets failing the promise he made to his wife.
Years later, the moment Sir Crocodile appeared, he knew it.
He knew from the start that he was Crow...
Looking at the wanted poster he saw that scar on his face and that hook.
All those scars reminded him over and over again of the damage he inflicted on her... No. HIM.
He failed him as a father... And he is ashamed of it.
So when he found out that Monkey D. Luffy was his grandson he decided that he had to do something.
He wasn't going to sit idly by and watch his family get hurt.
He won't let that happen.
They'll have to go over his fucking corpse.
Fuck you Sengoku...
-Sengoku... Prepare your last words.- Whitebeard said, raising his weapon.- You will pay for the damage you are doing to MY family. He is my SON, not daughter... I hope you never get confused again.-
Whitebeard locked eyes with a surprised Crocodile before locking eyes with Luffy.
A smile emerged on his face.
-Now... It's time for me to help my grandson... To save Ace and Rosinante.-
