Otto’s plan
Otto Hightower was always known to be a very ambitious man. The whole realm knew it when he threw his daughter to become queen the first chance he could get. No one is more upset about Alicent lack of boys than Otto himself. But he knew there was a chance by getting his blood on the throne and that was through his granddaughter, Heleana. Rheanyra has three sons. One of them in line to become king. Bastards or not they are still Targaryen and that is all Otto knows king viserys sees. Otto must open his eyes to see that a match between Jace and Heleana would insure the line and keep it strong. He just hopes he gets to the king before Corlys does and tries to match his own granddaughters to the young prince.
He writes to his daughter to inform her of his plan. Which Alicent is not pleased with. She writes back to her father. “Father these children are bastards I will not have my only daughter marry one of her plain featured son.” Angered with how stubborn Alicent is. He writes back to her. “Don’t you see no matter what your daughter will never sit the throne. Either you have a son heir or this marriage will happen.”
Alicent Hightower has always been a loyal and faithful wife to her husband. But if she needs a male she needs to find another way to get one. Just so her daughter does not have to marry Jace. That night without speaking of who. Alicent let a man into her chambers. That night she became with babe. This babe is and will be a Targaryen but she did what she had to do. Let’s just hope the king does not find out.
